Dynamite Walchand, in 2018, the placements are good, and less in core though.

Placements: Almost, everyone gets placed on the campus. There are good day sharing offers with a satisfactory number of placements. There is slightly less core offers compared to that of the day sharing. The procedure is well and simple. The salary package is ranging from 37 LPA to 2 LPA with an average package of college being 3.5 LPA.

Overall, the college is good. Faculty and placements are average.

Placements: Very few core companies visit WCE every year. Companies like Eton, JD, L&T, Siemens visit Walchand every year. But most of the students get a job in software companies like Infosys, TCS, IBM etc., but if you really want to join core electronics company, Walchand is not a good choice. If you are okay with any kind of job, then you will definitely get one.

One of the great engineering colleges in Maharashtra.

Placements: Awesome placement record. Best for CSE, IT and MECH. It has got better this year as companies like Microsoft, Direct have visited WCE campus. Average salary is also very good. Almost above 60-65+ company use to visit the campus for recruitment every year.

Really good placement and has a great campus.

Placements: The college has great placements. The highest package offered was 37 lacs per annum by Microsoft. This college has the highest placements in Maharashtra except for ICT Mumbai and IIT Pawai. The computer branch in this college is the top-most among other colleges. The college gave bright future to the students.

I am proud to be an Walchandite.

Placements: You don't need to worry about the placements here as you enter into Walchand College. There is a separate cell for placements naming TPO. Prof. Sanjay Dhaygude is the in charge of it. Last year, 2 students got placed in Microsoft with the packages of 37 lacs per annum. And, 10 students got placed in BPCL with the packages of 18 lacs per annum.

Walchand College of Engineering review.

Placements: Everyone can get placed with the average package of a minimum of 4.5 LPA before the end of the 7th semester of your graduation. The companies like Veritas, Barclays, Thought Works, BPCL, Tom, Symantec come every year for the placement. Last year, 2 students of our college students got placed in Microsoft with the package of 37 LPA.

There are 70% of the placements, good infrastructure, excellent facilities.

Placements: Frankly speaking for IT branch in Walchand there are 100 % placements, but in 2016 there were 70% placements and the rest 20% are going for higher studies and some because of their problems. For B.Tech, there is 100% placement, and I am not sure about M.Tech. In our time placement procedure was like if someone is placed in any company, then he/she is not allowed for next upcoming companies except dream company and day sharing. Before placement, the college provides training by high profile train...

The best college in placement, faculty, infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: The college provides good placements as any college in Maharashtra excluding IIT and ICT. 37 lpa is offered to 2 students in Microsoft. Early 8-9 students were placed with 18lpa. Companies visited are Siemens, John Doer, Benz, Google, Microsoft, Nvidia, Amazon, etc. More than 65%-70% of the students got placed from the mechanical branch. The average is approximately 70-80%. Our college has a placement cell. It is very efficient and is pretty good.

Walchand College of Engineering is Abode to talent.

Placements: The placements are pretty good. Everyone gets at least one offer. In our batch, two students get a package of 37 LPA from Microsoft and another from Directi. The companies always hire the like talented student, and if you think you are one, you will definitely get a good one. As mentioned the highest is 37 LPA while the lowest was around 3.5 LPA. The roles range from software/platform developer to consultants. Some of the companies who visited the campus is Microsoft, Directi, Barclays, Veritas,...

The college of dreams and knowledge.

Placements: The placement office is very passionate about placement so, don't worry about the placements. The students have a bright future in the college. The most number of placements are for computer science and technology students. The electrical knowledge plays a key part for EE students, so the EE students have mental ability. The students should have a positive mindset to work hard and get the things done.

Not up to the expectations. The teaching staff are really poor.

Placements: The placements are horrible for electronics branch. Out of 70 of us, barely 5 students got placed in a core electronics company, and remaining were thrown into the IT sector whose recruitment process was just a formality. The placements are good and improving for computer science and information technology though. And, I would rate placements for the mechanical stream as average. The electrical and civil branches were struggling just like electronics students.

Be a part of Walchand College.

Placements: 100% placement guaranteed at Walchand College. One of the best campus placements I have been known. The good companies like Amazon and Microsoft do visit the campus and offer the great package. The college TPO is good, so no worries about the placements here. The mass recruiters do visit for the day sharing.

There are good placements in 2017, but all the faculty are not good.

Placements: Placements for the B.Tech batch was very good. Four students of our branch were offered the package of 17 LPA, by Bharat Petroleum Limited. The companies like BPCL, IBM, Microsoft, HCL, Accenture, etc. regularly visit the campus. The internship is yet good because there is no chance of internship to all the students which is a drawback. The average salary offered was 4 LPA to 5 LPA.

Walchand college of engineering is accredited the A+ grade by the NAAC committee.

Placements: The placements are very nice. The package offered to the students was low, but many people were placed. The computer science and information technology students were placed with the higher packages. Its very nice for the new students to join our college.

Placements: Placement is an integral part of our institute and also provides a complete infrastructure and human resources. Also, the training activities are organised throughout the year in an effort towards preparing the students for the campus selection. The placement cell is not only an office but also a dream home for students. Overall, the placements and training of our college are focused on the development of the students.

Placements: The placements offered at Walchand Sangli is more than 90% for every year. It includes in the top three engineering colleges in Maharashtra. The path towards the destination starts from Walchand College of Engineering.

Placements: Walchand College has a very good record of placement activities. Every year, many companies visit the college and offer jobs to the students. All the branches have 90%+ placements. The number of companies visiting the college is increasing year by year. Also, the TPO puts a lot of efforts to bring different companies to our college.

An autonomous institute accredited by NBA.

Placements: The placements are very good. Most of the students who appear for the placements, get placed in any of the core company like HCC, L&T, Shahpoorji & Palanji or software companies like Infosys, TCS, IBM or Cognizant. The student has to attend training session before appearing for placements. The packages range from 3.5 LPA to 7 LPA by the core companies.

Perfectly satisfied with the college.

Placements: Almost every single person gets the placement. One needs to be very consistent if he wants to be placed. Placements for CSE and IT are above the par. Each year, placements for CSE and IT are reaching new heights. Placements for civil and mechanical are quite decent. Nearly ninety percent students get placed in the core sector. For electrical and electronics, the placement is on par. Fifty to sixty students get placed in the core sector and rest get opportunities in the IT sector. Overall, the pl...
