    The college environment is fantastic.
Placements: Around 70% of the students were placed in one batch. There are no recruitments from companies as it is a base course. But it consists of several overseas study programs along with scholarships. This course provides you with good communication skills along with time management and leadership. Overall, this course gives a better understanding of your subject.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is amazing compared to many other colleges. Our department has two language labs and a library that is open to all the students. They provide Wi-Fi from the departments, even for laptops. We have separate classrooms for each year. The canteen food is also not so bad compared to other hostels. It is a bit strict and has its own disciplinary rules but it has all the facilities, including a study hall and a reading room inside the hostel.
Faculty: It is an autonomous institution so we have our own syllabus. The teachers are so welcoming and always care about the students. They are qualified people and have great knowledge about every aspect of English. So the quality is the best. If we are ready to face the syllabus, we will go with the flow. The exams are a bit hard, as is the marking system. The minimum pass percentage is 40% and we have to crack the end semester separately and we get the result, which is the average of both our internals and the semester examination.
Other: I chose this college for my exposure. I am an introverted person but this college has given me a lot of opportunities and now I am the coordinator of one of the clubs. I made a lot of friends and made a good connection with teachers as well. I chose this course because of my interest in English. The college provides a good environment to study, not for enjoyment. This is the only negative factor. There are not many fests and events. But we have a lot of things to explore on that campus.

It is one of the agreeable and wonderful arts colleges in Chennai.
Placements: Placements in the college are effective for all the courses. Many multinational companies in accordance with the department of need approach students of WCC for placements in the final year. Companies like Amazon, Cognizant, Zoho, Infosys, Birla and many more visited the campus with job offers to students. They offered salaries ranging between Rs. 12,000 - 30,000 per month. The salary varied as per the job that was offered. Almost 85% of the students who attended placement drives were placed.
Infrastructure: WCC has provided almost every facility that a college student needs. The campus provides a wonderful atmosphere for students. It has all the facilities such as a library, lab, Apollo Shine medical facility, and sports department which supports students in every way. The hostel facility, canteen and mess are highly structured and provide satisfaction to students. The food provided in the canteen is reasonable. The quality and quantity of food in the canteen are always under check and maintained well. Even if there are any queries, students can approach the incharge to deal with the issue immediately.
Faculty: English department is one of the best departments in WCC. Every student will have a highly motivated, enlightening and fun-filled 3 years in the college. The teachers are wonderful, highly-skilled, supportive, and approachable. They are like a family to us. The course is renewed every year. It's up to date, highly practical, and professional.
