Students with a score above 75% are catered to, and many software-related companies actively recruit from this program, making it highly effective in facilitating placements.

While the Wi-Fi connectivity in classrooms may be average, the laboratory infrastructure is top-notch. Certain blocks have excellent classrooms. The college takes pride in itself.
Faculty: The extensive program prepares students with skills that are relevant across different industries, guaranteeing their readiness for placement opportunities. The faculty members at my college are not only incredibly supportive but also possess the essential expertise to provide guidance.

Review of my 2 years of M.Sc.
Placements: The information related to our batch is given below for my academic year 2022–2024. The college does provide us with a great placement opportunity and the placement percentage in our college is 90% as of now, with the highest package being INR 12 LPA, followed by INR 8 LPA of the average package for almost all the students. The top recruiters were KPMG and PwC. The top roles offered were research analyst and quality assurance engineer.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is not that fancy and we do not have an extremely big campus but yes, we do have the below-mentioned facilities available to us 24 hours a day. Wi-Fi is available. Labs: Yes and well-equipped with all the tools and other requirements. Classrooms are small but they are very well-ventilated and the mess food on campus is also not that great.
Faculty: The college has a great curriculum to keep the student's lives engaging in the classroom and we have projects throughout the year to keep the students interactive and always on their feet. The teaching quality is great and the faculty members take regular one-to-one sessions for regular interactions.

College with good faculty and facilities for the students.
Placements: In the Women's Christian College, 30-35% of the students get placements in the M.Sc. course. Our college offers enough placements and internship opportunities to its students. The average package offered in the college was between 3-6 LPA. Top recruiters at the college were various research institutes. Top roles offered were researchers, project heads, HR, etc.
Infrastructure: Our college has good infrastructure for the students in the Physiology course. The college has Wi-Fi, labs, a library, a canteen, hostels, sports facilities, etc. The facilities for the students are of good quality. The college hostel facilities are also of good quality. The mess food in the hostel is good to eat.
Faculty: Faculty members available at this college for our course are well-qualified and knowledgeable. They are experienced and offer good teaching to the students. The course curriculum at our college is relevant and makes students industry-ready. Semester exams at our college are not very hard to pass.

Not satisfied and needs an improvement!
Placements: M.Sc. Data Science in Women's Christian College is started in the academic year 2022-23. Data Science being an emerging field, has come in many colleges recently. WCC is better in academics. We hope that the placements will also be good here which gives us good reach.
Infrastructure: As I have joined in the first batch, portions were rushed up. But, the courses that come under this degree are very useful. I have got to learn basics of 2-3 programming languages within a year. The other skill courses were also interesting to learn and relevant to our learnings. Hostel facilities, Eventhough I am a day scholar, I heard from many of the hostel students saying that the hostel is very much clean and good. The food quality that is served there is also far better.
Faculty: There were only 2 teachers for M.Sc. Data Science in the first year of the degree. The teachers were helpful but we were supposed to complete the semester within 3 months. So, we were not able to learn much within the short period of time. The course curriculum is relevant. But, I don't think that it can make students industry ready. We have to learn, practice and explore more.

It is a very good experience here and it is lot more fun studying here.
Placements: The college offers campus interview from various companies like Infosys, Wipro, IBM, Google, HCL, Tech Mahendra and Taj. A large number of students get placed in different companies. The roles offered are like teachers in some schools. Everything is good about the placement.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very good. The campus was full of green trees and gardens. It also consists of a small lake behind the main block. The campus is eco-friendly, and students are strictly following the rules regarding waste disposals and other things regarding the cleanliness. We have quite a huge library, and it contains a small room with air conditioners. We have a large collection of books in all the fields. The canteen and mess in the hostel are good. But the food served in the canteen is quite expensive. The laboratory has all facilities for students to be comfortable with their works.
Faculty: Our faculty is extremely good and student-friendly. They are knowledgeable and are qualified for their posts. The course covers everything that is needed for a postgraduate student. It covers all the syllabus that is usually asked in competitive exams and is very useful for us. The teacher always does justice for their work. They explain everything very clearly and are always there to solve our problems and all queries.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in it. The best thing about the course is that we can learn about our day to day life and how things happen around the surrounding.

WCC has a good infrastructure, and it provides Wi-Fi facility for us and also coaching for NET exam.
Placements: Above 65% of the students got placed. The lowest salary of Rs.10,000 per month and the highest salary of Rs. 20,000 per month are offered for a fresher. TCS, Amazon, LIC, Infosys and HCL are some of the reputed companies recruiting of our college. Almost the whole class got internships, while some students did their internship in IIT, IGCAR, CSIR, Actavis.
Infrastructure: My course is chemistry, and our department has a good lab, and department library where we can take books and return them in a week. Our department has google classroom where teachers post the work for the day, and we even submit our assignments in the google classroom. The hostel facility is good, and the food served is also good with snacks in the evening. Sports and games are given importance here as we have compulsory sports in the first year, which are helpful. There are special coaches to train students for sports.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified, and they let us think creatively. They have good knowledge, and they observe every student in the class whether they understand what they teach. They are very encouraging. The course curriculum is relevant, and we even have MOOC courses, and it helps when we enter the industry for a job.
Other: I chose chemistry because it is one of my favourite subjects, which is interesting to learn. My course is related to our day to day lives and helps us in research. The thing to be improved about my course is the college can introduce some certificate courses based on chemistry, which will be helpful for the students in future. We have our chemistry department cultural fest named Radical, where college students across the city visit and participate in the competition, which improves the learning. We are provided management scholarships, and the campus is really good with trees and greenery environment.
