MBA students get good placements. Mainly location is a disadvantage.

Placements: Honestly not expecting placements in BBM. The college provides internships and all but not that worth it. Specializations such as marketing and HR are available. I have no idea regarding the top role that is going to be offered, and I haven't passed yet.

Absolutely recommended because of faculty, infrastructure, and extra curricular activities.

Placements: Faculties as well as campus are excellent for students overall development. Also, college provides placement for B.Com. students. Package for B.Com. students is not very high; you can expect around 3-4 LPA and with a very low percentage of recruitment.

Review of Xavier School of Commerce, Xavier University Bhubaneswar.

Placements: About 95% of students get placements every year in good companies. They may not be dream jobs but core jobs. Top recruiters are TCS, ITC, HDFC, Axis Bank, ICICI, HUL, and many more companies.

It's a great experience. But.

Placements: The college has a seperate committee which looks after the placements. The college has 100% placements of also those students who went and SAT interviews. The college has multiple programs under it where students of all levels get placed if you have the qualifications.

This college is only good for study. No good campus life and also asking for money only.

Placements: 10% students were placed during last placement. Zolo stays offered the internships. Sales and marketing specialists role offered. But at the end they were not giving salaries properly to the interns even if they work according to them. Placement opportunity is not soo good.

It is unworthy of spending money and 3 years of your college life here.

Placements: There is no placement committee, so there are no placements from the university for any student under any undergraduate programme. Deans and other upper management guarantees and have announcements of the same. No company wants to come for placements, and there is no action taken by the management either. The least concerning matter is for the administration.

I am satisfied with teachers and good infrastructure but it has poor placements.

Placements: There is no placement cell for B.Com course. The college doesn't guarantee any placements. However, there were some on-campus placements for the previous batches, which were mostly student-driven. But no placements were offered for the batch 2020. Internships are to be done by students on their own. No companies come to the campus for the same.

Infrastructure and facilities are good, clean everywhere. Faculty members are average.

Placements: I don't have much idea regarding our placements as it will be at the end of this year. Moreover, I am not in touch with any of our seniors, so I don't have much knowledge about placements. I have heard from our seniors that the companies don't offer the salary which one should get after B.Com or BBM Degree.

It is an amazing place which is like a home to such diverse cultures and narratives.

Placements: We had a decent number of companies interested to hire students from our college. Companies like Indigo Airlines, Concentrix Services, Byju's the learning app, Pepsi, Deloitte, Grozip, etc., visited the college. Though a lot of students opted for higher studies, the ones that opted for placements were all successfully placed.

Why should one choose Xavier University over other universities

Placements: Placement was basically off campus but the students ended getting very handsome salary from corporates like indigo, tata steel etc. As we were the second batch, placement was not guaranteed at that time. But Xaviers has a brand name and the faculty and course were fantastic which helped us to get a good job.

School of Commerce experience.

Placements: There is no placement cell. They are not active in any way. We are really in a bad shape. If you need placement you have to search elsewhere but this college will not provide you any placement. They don't give a damn about career. It has been the worst experience.

I am absolutely dissatisfied because of the fee structure.

Placements: Everybody from our senior batch got placement. Placement drives for our batch are yet to be conducted. Companies like KPMG, ICICI Bank, and others visited our college and offered a variety of roles. The lowest salary package offered was 2.5 LPA. The highest salary package offered was 5 LPA. There is a placement cell.

Placements: I don't have any idea regarding the placements as I'm in the first year and I don't have much interaction with our seniors. I've heard that the students got placed but I'm not aware of the names of the companies.

Review of Xavier School of Commerce, Xavier University.

Placements: Our department did not provide placement opportunities. So, that would make zero per cent placements from college. The university doesn't have a placement committee. Hence, no experience to be acquired by taking up respective roles.

A good place to gather insight knowledge about management courses. The hostel life is memorable.

Placements: The placement records of XUB have been great. The placement cell has worked hard in providing ample opportunities to students. They were able to bring companies like ICICI Prudential Life Insurance, Indigo Airlines, Tedco Education Pvt. Ltd. etc. Not many students opted for placements as they are interested in studying further.

Overall, I had a good experience, but the college does not provide any placements.

Placements: The undergraduate courses do not promise any placements, but the faculty members and the placement committee of postgraduate courses guide the students to get a job. While many of the students prefer to continue further with their education, a few secured a job in finance and FMCG sectors with an average salary package of approximately 5 LPA. The course also required the students to undergo a summer internship programme. The internships are provided through off-campus drives, and most of us did ...

It's a new and growing university in Odisha.

Placements: Since it's a UG programme and has been recently introduced in the university, placements condition is not that good. Three companies have visited the campus for placement drives during the end of the third year. If students really need a job after graduation, they have to opt for off-campus placements.

Very good faculty and infrastructure.

Placements: The placement is not guaranteed, but the companies do visit to hire the students. The companies like Indigo for the various profiles like marketing, supply chain, logistics, HR and finance. The college is new so the on-campus placement is not exciting. But the experience and knowledge we get in this college are on another level.
