Review of Yashwantrao Chavan Institute of Science, Satara Department of Computer Science .

Faculty: The faculty here is very supportive and qualified. They help students with their every problem. The course curriculum is nice and meets industry standards. The difficulty level is above average in exams and the pass percentage is 35%. Get chances to work on research projects. I got the opportunity to participate in state- and national-level competitions.

Absolutely a value for money .

Faculty: Fauclty is very helpful and friendly; they solve our doubts any time we need them. I have full permission to call them at any time to ask any kind of doubt. They also conduct some kind of activity to entertain us; they are too talkative and kind in nature.

Ycis college is an autonomous college in Zatarain Satara only in this college.

Faculty: Teaching quality is best. All staff all well qualified. All college exams are hard. But this is a practical and theory base subject. When you attempt practically you can write in exam very easily. The staff is very strict in college. Patil sir is my best.

It is a great autonomous institute for science students.

Faculty: Faculty members in this college are very good and well qualified. Teachers are very impressive workers in their job. The pass percentage is also good and as an autonomous institute, this college has exams for different skills and diploma courses that's why I like the curriculum of this college.

Satisfied with college , because of good infrastructure and teachers

Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and help every student but some teachers are not good fit for specific subjects. In my course they included all the latest computer technology like AI, machine learning, data analysis and big data. Not that tuff , if you have technical knowledge then you are good to go and passing percentage is 35% percent minimum.

It is the best for the B.Sc course. I highly recommend students to join this course.

Faculty: The B.Sc programme is generally of three years duration. In the case of part-time or distance learning programmes, the duration varies between four to five years. The pedagogy of B.Sc programmes is a combination of theory and practical lessons. The course curriculum includes practical lessons which carry a considerable amount of weightage. To pass a semester, students need to pass both the theory and practical exams.

Get what you actually need out of you course.

Faculty: They are highly qualified and keep a high level of knowledge in their specialised subjects. They teach student's so well and also take care of students who don't get it. They always try to make us ready for exams. Our college is autonomous so they take care that students should be taught what is needed. The passing percentage is 40%.

I would recommend joining this college.

Faculty: Our teachers are polite and friendly. They are well-educated and possess extensive knowledge about the subjects. The semesters can be challenging as it is an autonomous college, but they will provide training. The exams test your critical thinking skills. Everything is covered in the syllabus.
