Dissatisfied because of management, No placements.

Faculty: Faculty appointment was very less due to management financial issues. Even teachers were not knowledgeable. Very less teachers were qualified and knowledgeable but no efforts were taken by management to maintain them by paying salary at right time. So strikes were often. Teaching quality was moderate. Teachers were less to the student population. No industry exposure.

The worst college. Please don't join.

Faculty: The worst teachers! Not even a single qualified teacher is present in this college. They always discourage students rather than supporting them. Some of them doesn't even have basic knowledge. There is no one in this college to consider as a good teacher.

If you are a bright student or a loser, don't ever think of joining here.

Faculty: All the lecturers are new to their professions, and there is no experience in lecturing. So, obviously, you think how would the educational quality. The college offers five courses, which are civil, mechanical, electronics, computer science, and information science and engineering.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of the placement issues. Good faculty. Not so bad infrastructure.

Faculty: The faculty are good and friendly with good communication skill and knowledge in the subject. But, whatsoever there is a shortage of the faculty members. The student can't choose elective subject due to the shortage of the faculty. The management will choose the subject depending upon faculty availability.

The college has the good infrastructure and facilities, but there are no placements.

Faculty: Not everything in the college is good. The teaching quality is good. There was no hostel facility available in this college. The faculty members are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They use some special methods for teaching.

The Yellamma Dasappa Institute of technology.

Faculty: During my course at the college, the faculty were quite good. But, I have heard now that all old faculty members have left the college. So no idea about the new ones. Only some of the faculty were good, and some don't have any knowledge of what they are teaching. There will be no industrial exposure.

We were satisfied by faculty but placements were very poor.

Faculty: Faculty members were well-qualified and knowledgeable. The methods they used were awesome as they went deeper to teach us and clear the concepts for us. But, faculty members left the college because the management was not paying their salary for past two to three months. The students faced a lot of problems as the lecturers left the in the middle of the semester because of the above reason.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of no placements.

Faculty: -> A few faculty members whom I had come across were excellent (qualified and knowledgeable) and a few were below average (qualified but had a lack of knowledge). As this was the same problem in other colleges, all faculties could not be good, there were few worst ones as well. Teaching methods were completely dependant on lectures. They used to cover 4 units and few lectures were covering 5 units. -> The student-faculty ratio was 10:1. -> I didn't get any Industry exposure -> The course curricu...

Good place to self-learn and to be independent.

Faculty: The faculty members were good, provided the good teaching is concerned. they gave lecture with the help of PPT sometimes. All faculty members were double and triple graduates, most of them are triple graduates with PhD. They supported every student and welcomed every students' doubts.

The college is the best for Civil and Mechanical branches of Engineering. There is a lot of emphasis on practical learning with various projects, paper presentations and conferences. Students are the part of it on a regular basis. The sports and co-curricular activities are average and are not given as much importance as academics. Placements are good with the top 20-30 % placed in core companies. The facilities are also good and well maintained especially, the classrooms which have recently bee...

The ambiance and crowd of YDIT is its main strength. Activities in the college are very student driven and hence make it a very collaborative environment. The college also has good library, labs and a well-equipped auditorium. The curriculum is also relaxed with lots of activities and opportunities to enjoy and learn. The placements are as yet to pick up but the placement cell is dedicated in this area and is positively growing every year. The atmosphere is nice and overall a good experience.

INFRASTRUCTURE: The infrastructure and facilities available on campus are not amongst the very best but not very bad also. They claim to have different buildings for different streams but finally they make students enter any vacant classroom irrespective of their stream. Library fails in having sufficient number of books required, you will find 10 books which no one would want to borrow but 1 good book which is prescribed in the syllabus copy or just students favorite is always in less numbers. ...

The institution is very great and good knowledge is given about computer Science.

Faculty: Yes, the teachers are very helpful and qualified in there courses and they teach every concept very briefly that it clears all the doubts in while teaching, No need to ask second time. Yes, it makes students industry ready. The exams were not too easy nor difficult but they were easy to understand and we all had great exams.
