COVID-19 Impact: NID postpones admission process until further notice

NID DAT 2020 Prelims for BDes/ GDPD and Mains exam for MDes has been further postponed due to lockdown extension. Read here to know more. 

National Institute of Design (NID) has postponed the admission process due to extension in COVID-19 lockdown in the country. Previously, the institute had cancelled all the events related to NID Design Aptitude Test (DAT) scheduled after March 16 i.e. Studio Tests and Mains for Master of Design (MDes) and, results of Prelims and Mains schedule for BDes/ GDPD courses. The new schedule for the postponed events of NID DAT 2020 will now be announced on or after May 4.

NID DAT 2020 for BDes/GDPD and MDes courses was held on December 29, 2019, and now, the subsequent admission events stand postponed due to COVID-19 outbreak in the country. The results of NID DAT 2020 prelims for BDes/ GDPD were to be declared on March 18, later it was preponed to be announced on February 19 but delayed due to COVID-19 lockdown. The results of MDes Prelims have been declared on February 21 and, the schedule for Mains and Studio Tests has not been shared yet.
