GATE 2020 admit card released; what to check in the hall ticket
IIT Delhi has released GATE 2020 Admit Card on January 3. Read below to know download procedure, details to verify, and other important information related to GATE 2020 admit card.
GATE 2020 admit card: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi has released the GATE 2020 Admit Card today i.e. January 3. Candidates going to appear for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2020 will be able to download the admit card from the official website: gate.iitd.in.
GATE 2020 Admit Card/Hall Ticket: Steps to Download
GATE admit card can only be downloaded online from the official website of GOAPS by following the below-mentioned steps:
Step-1: Visit the official website of GOAPS
Step-2: Login to the candidate's dashboard using the registered user ID and password
Step-3: Click on “Download GATE Admit Card”
Step-4: Your GATE admit card 2020 will be displayed and downloaded on your system

It is to note that the admit card of GATE 2020 will be available only for the candidates whose applications have been accepted. All candidates will be required to take a print out of the GATE admit card 2020 and bring it to the examination hall along with a valid and non-expired photo identity proof. After downloading the admit card, candidates must check the following things on it:
Photograph and signature: Candidates must verify that the admit card is having the same photograph uploaded by them while filling the GATE 2020 application form and it should also match with the appearance of the candidate on the day of examination. To ensure this, candidates can take the colour printout of the GATE 2020 admit card.
Details: The candidate must check and verify their details such as name, parent’s name, and the paper/subject chosen. The admit card should also have the exam date, venue, reporting time, and instructions. One can verify the exam day and slot by checking the GATE paper-wise schedule.
In case of any mistake, candidates need to get in touch with authorities at the earliest through the official contact id – chrgate@admin.iitd.ac.in.
GATE 2020 examination will be conducted on February 1, 2, 8, and 9 in two shifts. The first shift will be conducted from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm and the second shift will be conducted from 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm.
The examination would be conducted on 25 subjects online. As per the GATE exam pattern, the question paper will consist of 65 questions for a total of 100 marks including some questions for which numerical answers must be keyed in by the candidate using a virtual keypad.
