GATE 2020 answer key: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi may release the official answer keys of the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) by Feb 23.

Though any official notification has not been released by the IIT Delhi in this regard but the answer key is expected to available within 1 or 2 days after challenging the answer key is over. It is also likely as the exam conducting authority has released the GATE 2020 response sheet a day ago and also the notification to challenge the answer key today. The next step will be of releasing the official GATE 2020 answer key.

The official answer key for GATE 2020 will help candidates to know the correct and incorrect responses marked by them in the entrance test and calculate their approximate scores. It is also expected that along with the answer keys, IIT Delhi will also release the GATE 2020 question papers for all the 25 subjects.

GATE answer key 2020 – Steps to download

• Visit the GOAPS website or click on the above link
• Log in to the website
• Click on the answer key link for the paper appeared
• A new window displaying the subject-wise GATE answer keys will open
• Download, save and take a printout (if required) for future reference

Before releasing the final GATE answer key 2020, the exam conducting authority will also provide an opportunity to challenge it from February 19 to 21. Aspirants can submit their objections with necessary proofs within a given period. GATE 2020 final answer keys will be released along with the result after scrutinising the objections raised by the candidates. GATE 2020 result for all the papers will be announced online on March 16.

GATE 2020 was held on February 1, 2, 8, and 9 online at 566 centres of 199 cities in India. The exam was conducted in two shifts – Forenoon (9:30 am to 12:30 pm) and afternoon (2:30 pm to 5:30 pm). Admission to postgraduate programmes conducted by IITs, NITs, IIITs, and other institutes will be done based on candidates’ ranks in their respective subjects. Various Public Sector Units (PSUs) also accept the GATE score for various posts.
