GATE 2020 Answer Key: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi has released the official GATE 2020 answer key today i.e. February 18 for the candidates appeared in the exam on February 1, 2, 8, and 9. To view the GATE answer key 2020, candidates need to visit the official website: http://gate.iitd.ac.in.

The GATE answer key was expected to be released on February 9 as the exam conducting authority has provided notification in regards to challenging the same. Candidates must note that the answer key released now is the preliminary/provisional one. All students appeared in the exam can check the answer key below:

Students are allowed to contest or raise an objection against the answer key. The GATE 2020 question papers have already been uploaded on the official website today.

Students can raise the objections against the GATE 2020 answer key from February 19 i.e. tomorrow till February 21, as per the official schedule. For every objection raised by a candidate, he/she needs to pay a fee of Rs 500 along with valid proof.  The objections will then be studied and those which are considered to be right will be incorporated in the final answer key. GATE 2020 answer key (final) is likely to be released on February 23.

Step-1: Visit gate.iitd.ac.in

Step-2: Click on answer key objection link

Step-3: Log-in using credentials

Step-4: Click on the question you think is wrong, write an argument, attach supporting documents

Step-5: Make the payment of objection fee

Step-6: Click on the “Submit” button

Those who clear GATE will be eligible to take admission in MTech courses at IITs, IISc and several other institutes. Moreover, qualified candidates are also eligible to appear for jobs at several public sector undertakings (PSUs).
