IIT JEE or IIT Joint Entrance Examination is conducted to qualify aspirants for NITs, IIITs and IITs across the country. There are two different examinations held every year - JEE Main and JEE Advanced. JEE Main 2020 for January session was conducted from January 6 to 9 in online mode while JEE Main 2020 April exam has been postponed to June due to COVID-19 epidemic and lockdown. Earlier, the exam was scheduled on April 5, 7, 9 and 11. 1. JEE Main 2020 April Application & Correction
NTA has closed the JEE Main 2020 registration on March 12. However, due to the Coronavirus outbreak, the JEE Main 2020 April application form correction window is open until May 3. Therefore, registered candidates have an opportunity to correct or edit mistakes in their JEE Main 2020 application form for the April session. It must also be noted that the authority has also opened the correction window for editing exam cities.

- Enter Application Form Number, Password and Security Pin
- Click on Sign In button
- Application Form will be displayed on the screen
- Edit the required and Save the changes

2. JEE Main 2020 April exam
The exam has been postponed two times by the authority due to COVID-19 lockdown. The authority had earlier rescheduled the exam until last week of May. Recently HRD Minister has officially confirmed through a tweet that the exam is likely to be held in June. All other dates related to the exam will be released in the official website.

3. New changes in IIT JEE Main Exam Pattern
According to JEE Main 2020 exam pattern, the exam will be held for three papers. Paper I is BE/BTech, Paper-II is BArch, Paper III is BPlan. Candidates must be well acquainted with the exam pattern of JEE Main to know the total marks and questions, marking scheme, etc.
BE/BTech (Paper 1) will contain 75 questions while BArch will carry 77 questions. BPlan paper will consist of 100 questions. Each question paper will be in English, Hindi, and Gujarati (Aspirant’s from Gujarat, Daman & Diu and Dadra and Nagar Haveli can opt for Gujarati as well) language.
Along with the exam pattern, candidates should also be thorough with JEE Main 2020 syllabus to know the chapters and topics from each unit of the paper.

JEE Main eligibility criteria
To appear in IIT JEE Main exam, candidates must satisfy the JEE Main eligibility criteria released by NTA. To summarize, all the candidates applying for JEE Main must have qualified class 12th exam with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. For admission to NITs, IIITs and CFTIs candidates have to score 75% marks (65% for SC/ST) or be in the top 20 percentile in 12th standard.
