JNU Ph.D Programme: Last date to submit applications is January 31, 2014

Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) hass announced admissions into its Ph.D programme for the academic session commencing in 2014. Last date to submit the duly filled application forms for these Ph.D programmes is January 31, 2014.

Through these applications, JNU will be offering seats to eligible candidates in various areas of research in the School of International Studies, School of Social Sciences, School of Language, Literature and Culture Studies, School of Computer & Systems Sciences, School of Physical Sciences, School of Environmental Sciences. Other schools wherein admissions can be gained are School of Life Sciences, School of Arts and Aesthetics, School of Computational and Integrative Sciences, School of Biotechnology, Centre for the Study of Law & Governance, Centre for Molecular Medicine and Centre for Sanskrit Studies.

Eligible candidates will be admitted for the Ph.D. programmes on the basis of availability of seats. Candidates will be short listed and selected on the basis of either just a viva-voce or on the basis of both written exam and a viva-voce.
