JoSAA seat allotment 2019 results for round 1 have been declared by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) on June 27. Candidates who have registered for JoSAA counselling 2019 will be able to check the seat allotment results on the official website of the authority by submitting their registered credentials to login.
How to check JoSAA seat allotment result 2019?

Step 1: Visit the official website of JoSAA 2019
Step 2: Click on “View seat allotment results for round 1”
Step 3: Enter your application number, password and security pin to login
Step 4: Check your seat allotment result
Step 5: Download and take a print out of the same to be preserved for future reference

Candidates who are allotted seats and are satisfied with the allocation will have to report at the allotted institutes along with the required document, basis their rank. Candidates who are not satisfied with the allotment result in the first round will have the option to freeze, float or slide the allotment result.
JoSAA will conduct seven rounds of seat allotment for admission to the BTech and BArch programmes offered at Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IITs), National Institutes of Information Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs) and Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs). Candidates will be allotted colleges and branches basis their rank, category, preferences and seat availability.
Candidates who have cleared both JEE Main and Advanced will be able to seek admission at IITs while candidates who appeared only for JEE Main will be able to seek admission at NITs, IIITs and CFTIs.
