KCET 2020 new dates have been announced by the State Higher Education Minister Dr CN Aswath Narayan. The exam is scheduled to be held on July 30 and July 31. Earlier, the exam was scheduled to be conducted from April 22 to April 24 but due to COVID-19 was postponed.
Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) conducts KCET (Karnataka Common Entrance Test) every year for admission to the courses of Engineering, Technology, BPharma, DPharma, Agriculture courses (Farm Science) and Veterinary. KCET 2020 application form window is re-opened from May 08 to May 18 on the request of many aspirants and their parents.

KCET 2020 Exam Pattern
The exam pattern gives the knowledge of total sections, the total number of questions in each section, total marks and duration. It plays an important role in making the exam preparation strategy.
The question paper will include the questions from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology. Each section will have 60 questions i.e. 180 questions in total. The exam will be conducted for 180 marks that means one question will carry one mark only. The exam will be conducted in offline mode and there will be no negative marking for wrong answer/s.
