The CMR Institute of Management studies (CMRIMS) is part of the CMRGI and promoted by CMR Jnanadhara Trust. CMRIMS was established in July 1996 to promote academic and professional excellence in management education. The institute is affiliated to Bangalore University, recognised by the Government of Karnataka and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.

CMRIMS is autonomous since 2009 and accredited with Grade ‘A’ by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). CMRIMS offers the following courses:
