The Institute of Engineering & Management (IEM) is one of the renowned education groups in India that majorly focuses on imparting higher education in the streams of Engineering, Management and IT & Software.

The first institute under the IEM Group was established in 1989 in Kolkata, West Bengal. The institute is popularly known as IEM Kolkata, which is the first self-financed engineering and management college in the state of West Bengal. Since then, the IEM Group has established two universities in Jaipur and Kolkata:

Courses Offered at UEM Jaipur

University of Engineering & Management, Jaipur was established in 2011 under a Government of Rajasthan Act. The university campus is located on a 32-acre land with about 954 students, 76 faculty and 38 support staff. The campus also has a hostel with a capacity of 1,100 students.  

Since 2011, UEM Jaipur has been ranked several times and won prestigious awards. Some of the significant rankings and awards of UEM Jaipur include:

• Ranked the topmost university of Rajasthan by NPTEL examination, MHRD, Government of India for past four consecutive sessions (every six months from 2016 to 2019)
• Ranked best institute of Jaipur and second-best institute of Rajasthan in the Times Higher Education (THE) rankings 2019

Courses Offered at UEM Kolkata

UEM Kolkata was established by the IEM Group in 2014 under a Government of West Bengal Act. The university has won ‘AAA’ category in the NPTEL programme ranked by IIT Kharagpur and IIT Chennai. Various UG and PG courses offered by the varsity include:

UEM Kolkata admissions in a majority of the UG courses offered by it are based on IEMJEE exam. Admission in MBA courses are based on CAT/MAT/WBJEMAT. Apart from this, admission in MCA course is based on WB JECA exam.
