A disclaimer on the NTA website reads, “Please note that these lectures are by reputed IIT Professors/Subject Experts for clarifying concepts in the subject. However, it may be noted that there is no guarantee that questions in the JEE Main / NEET UG will come from this content”.

The available IIT Pal lectures are on various topics across all the four subjects. In Physics, the lectures are available on topics like refraction at spherical surfaces and by lenses, light, planar motion, kinetics, Kirchhoff’s law, electric energy and power, drift velocity and resistance, faraday’s law of induction etc.

Students can also access IIT Pal (Professor Assisted Learning) lectures on the 'Swayam' platform through their mobile phones anytime, anywhere. The idea behind making the lectures available is to reduce the dependence of students on coaching classes. JEE Main 2019 mock tests too are available online for students to practice anywhere.

The application form for JEE Main commenced on September 1 and will continue till September 30. JEE Main 2019 is scheduled to be held from January 6 to January 20, 2019 for the first phase while the exam in April will be conducted from April 6 to April 20.
