VIT University Vellore offers a number of specialisations under MTech at the PG level. The University, every year, conducts VITMEE 2021 to offer admission to MTech/ MCA programme. VITMEE is a computer-based test that is held offline at several centres across the country. Final admission is subject to a personal interview (PI) round of the shortlisted candidates. VIT Vellore MTech Application Process 2021
VIT Vellore MTech application 2021 is accepted in both online and offline modes. Applicants should apply online by paying a non-refundable application fee of Rs 1200 (including GST). Below mentioned are some of the important steps to be followed by all the candidates for admission to MTech at VIT Vellore:
- Applicants should register for VITMEE, a Computer-Based Objective Test at indicated Test Centers
- Shortlisted candidates will be published on the website or personal SMS will be sent to the registered mobile number for an interview/counselling at Vellore/ Chennai/ Bhopal/ Amrawati
- Candidates selected will be paying a deposit of Rs 11,800 towards the counselling fee
- The counselling fee is non-refundable but will be adjusted in the tuition fee once the candidate joins the institute
- The amount is to be paid via DD drawn in the favour of ‘Vellore Institute of Technology”, payable at Vellore (only computerized DD will be accepted). Candidates, who fail to pay in time, will not be considered for admission
VIT Vellore MTech Counselling 2021
Below mentioned are the important highlights regarding the VIT Vellore IIT
- Tentative dates for counselling and campus allotment is June 18, 19 and 20
- All the required documents are to be shown in original for verification and a set of photocopies will be collected for the candidate
- A mandatory sum of Rs 11,800 is to be submitted by the candidate as a demand draft in the favour of 'Vellore Institute of Technology’, payable at Vellore
- The advanced counselling fee of Rs 11,800 is non-refundable
- Applicants without the DD for the said amount will not be permitted to attend the counselling
- Allotment of seat and campus for a programme once made is final and will not be changed under any circumstance

- Class 10 and Class 12 marks statement
- Mark sheets of all the semesters/ years of the qualifying examination upto pre-final/ final year as applicable
- Qualifying degree/ Provisional certificate (If already received)
- Transfer/ migration/ college leaving certificate obtained from the Institute last studied in original. (If already received)
- Service certificate issued by the Employer. (For sponsored candidates only)
- Community certificate (only for SC/ST categories)

- Admission letter and a photocopy of the programme fee receipt
- Four copies of recent passport size colour photograph
