VITEEE result 2019 has been declared by VIT (Vellore Institute of Technology) on April 29. Candidates who appeared for VITEEE 2019 can check their score cards and ranks on the official website of VIT by using their application number and date of birth to login. Exam qualifiers will also receive an email about their VITEEE result and score card. On the basis of the ranks secured by candidates, they will be called for the counselling process. VIT is to begin VITEEE 2019 counselling from May 9.
Along with the candidate’s score card, VIT has also released a list of top 10 VITEEE 2019 rank holders. As per the official website of VIT, Sai Saketika Chekuri has topped VITEEE 2019 with rank 1. VITEEE 2019 Result Evaluation
VITEEE is conducted by vellore Institute of Technology for admission to the BTech programmes offered at VIT Vellore, VIT Bhopal, VIT Amravati and VIT Chennai. After the VITEEE result is declared, candidates receive call letters to participate in the counselling process. VITEEE score card carries the overall score and the rank obtained by candidate.
A candidate’s VITEEE rank is identified using a statistical process of Equi-percentile. Basis this process, the scores of different forms with the same percentile rank are considered to be equal.
Percentile rank is a unique position of the candidate in that particular group. For example, a candidate’s who had bagged 80 percentile rank denoted that there are 80 percent of candidates who scored below this score and 20 percent who scored above this score.
VITEEE 2019 was conducted by VIT from April 10 to 21 across 163 test centres in India. As many as 1.62 lakh candidates appeared for the engineering entrance exam. Of the total count, 29, 122 test takers were from Andhra Pradesh, followed by 17, 469 candidates from Uttar Pradesh, 16,583 from Tamil Nadu, 16,027 from Telangana and 14,798 from Maharashtra. Among all, Hyderabad topped the list of maximum number of VITEEE 2019 applicants.
