The final result of JEE Main 2025 is determined by considering the best scores from both the January and April sessions. This year, JEE Main will be conducted by NTA in two sessions: January and April. The Final JEE Main Result 2025 will contain the following details:

• Total scores obtained in the April attempt
• The best score out of both JEE Main 2025 sessions
• All India rank in JEE Main 2025
• Candidate’s category (if applicable)

The tie-breaking criteria are as follows:

3. NTA score in Chemistry.
4. Candidate with a lower proportion of incorrect to correct answers across all subjects in the test.
5. Candidate with a lower proportion of incorrect to correct answers in Mathematics.
6. Candidate with a lower proportion of incorrect to correct answers in Physics.
7. Candidate with a lower proportion of incorrect to correct answers in Chemistry.

If a tie remains even after applying all the above criteria, candidates will be assigned the same rank.

The JEE Main 2025 percentile score reflects the relative performance of all candidates who appeared for the exam. It is calculated by converting the raw scores into a scale ranging from 100 to 0 for each session of examinees.

According to the official website, "The Percentile Score represents the percentage of candidates who have scored EQUAL TO OR BELOW (same or lower raw scores) that particular percentile in the exam. Therefore, the topper (highest scorer) of each session receives a percentile of 100, which is the desired outcome. The marks between the highest and lowest scores are also converted into corresponding percentiles."

NTA will publish the JEE Main 2025 toppers list alongside the results. The list will include state-wise and zone-wise rankings of candidates who achieve the highest marks.
