Karnataka Examination Authority will release the DCET 2025 exam date soon at the official website. Applicants are advised to keep track of DCET official website to keep track of all important dates. Candidates appearing in the exam have to carry their DCET 2025 admit card along with one valid photo ID proof to the exam centre. DCET 2025 exam will be conducted on offline pen & paper mode.  

The DCET 2025 admit card will be available a few days before the exam. The DCET admit card will have the information regarding the exam crentre, date and time of the exam. The candidates can check the admit card for the exam day guidelines. Candidates need to download the admit card using the application number and date of birth.

The application number and date of birth of the candidate have to be submitted to check the admit card. The steps to download the application form are as follows.

• Go to the official website of DCET 2025
• Click on the admit card link
• Candidates will have to provide their application form number and date of birth
• Click on 'Submit'
• DCET 2025 admit card will be displayed on the screen 
• Candidates will have to check all the credentials and details mentioned in the admit card
• The admit card has to be downloaded and printed for future use.

Candidates are required to bring a valid photo ID proof and a coloured printout of their DCET 2025 admit card when arriving at the exam centre. Acceptable photo ID proofs include Aadhaar Card, voter ID, PAN Card, driver's license, or passport. Among these options, Aadhaar Card and Voter ID are considered the most reliable photo ID proofs for Indian citizens. The purpose behind this requirement by the exam supervising authority is to verify the identity of the candidates. The ID proof will solely be used for candidate recognition and will not be retained by the authority. It is important to note that the photo ID proof must be an original document, as photocopies or printouts of ID proofs will not be accepted by the exam authority. 

To access the DCET admit card, candidates will have to click on the link given on the official website. The candidates can open the DCET admit card by entering their application number and date of birth. The admit card can be downloaded after that. The candidates take printout of the admit card and take it to the exam centre.

No calculator, electronic watch, slide rule, log table, printed or written material, mobile phone, pager or any other device is allowed inside the DCET examination hall. Disciplinary actions will be taken if the candidate possesses any of these during the exam. 

If the candidate does not find the DCET admit card details online, they should contact the admissions authority at Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA). The admit card is usually relased in the month of November. The candidates who registered for DCET can download the admit card by logging in using the required credentials. The admit card will only be available online on the official website, no other mode will be used by the authorities to release the DCET admit card.

Candidates are strongly advised to arrive at the DCET exam centre well in advance of the reporting time indicated on their admit card, ideally at least 45 minutes ahead of the scheduled examination time. This early arrival serves multiple purposes, including allowing candidates to acquaint themselves with the exam venue and settle in comfortably before the test commences. It is crucial for candidates to take note of the timings specified on their admit card to prevent any last-minute complications. Furthermore, candidates should take into account the possibility of potential delays caused by traffic, public transportation, or other unforeseen circumstances and should accordingly plan their journey to ensure punctuality. Hence, candidates must make it a priority to reach the exam centre on time and ensure they carry all the necessary documents and items as outlined in the admit card to avoid any inconvenience on the day of the examination.

If this situation arises, you have the option to download and obtain a printed copy of the DCET admit card from a nearby internet cafe. The candidates who fail to take a printed copy of their admit cards will not be granted permission to enter the DCET exam hall or permitted to attend the exam. The DCET admit card is a important document containing essential exam-related information, and candidates must ensure they carry it along with a valid photo ID proof to the exam centre.

DCET admit card will have all relevant details related to the candidate and exam such as the candidate’s name, application number, gender, category, date of birth, photograph, course name and date & time of the exam. It will also have important instructions regarding the exam. The candidates must read the instructions on the admit card before going for the exam. The instruction on the admit card will be followed strictly. 

If there are any errors found in the DCET admit card, candidates must promptly rectify them through the authority at Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) and obtain a revised admit card. No candidate will be permitted to take the examination with inaccurate information or an incorrect photo on their admit card. The admit card cannot be transferred to another person, and any attempt to tamper with it will result in the automatic disqualification of the candidate.

The candidates can check the internet connection and try downloading the DCET admit card. If the candidates are not able to download even after checking the internet connection, they are advised to reach out to the exam conducting authority via the contact details, such as helpline numbers or email, made available on the official website. The official website will provide the relevant helpline number for assistance. It should be noted that the admit card can be obtained only by downloading from the official website, no physical copies will be send to the candidate by post.
