Q:   What is the mode of exam for DCET?

A:

The mode of exam for DCET (Karnataka Diploma Common Entrance Test) is offline, also known as a pen-and-paper-based test. Candidates will have to mark their answers on a physical test booklet and submit it to the invigilator. There will be no online or remote proctored option for DCET. The exam will be held for a duration of 3 hours, and candidates will have an additional 25 minutes to fill in the required details.

There is no negative marking in DCET 2025 for wrong answers. The candidates can answers all the questions without the fear of losing marks for wrong answers. There will be a total of 100 questions asked in the exam. The question paper includes objective multiple-choice questions. The maximum mark allotted for the question paper is 100. There will be one mark allotted for every correct answers.
