Q:   Can other state candidates apply for GUJCET exam?

A:

GUJCET exam is only open to candidates who are domiciled in the state of Gujarat. Therefore, candidates from other states are not eligible to apply for the GUJCET exam.

However, if you have moved to Gujarat from another state and have been residing in the state for a certain period, you may be considered a domiciled candidate of Gujarat and would be eligible to apply for the GUJCET exam. In such cases, you would need to provide proof of your residency in Gujarat.

Also, candidates who have passed class 12 in Gujarat can apply for GUJCET exam.

Q:   What is the passing marks in GUJCET?

A:

As per GUJCET pattern set by the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB), candidates from the general category are required to score at least 54 marks to qualify for the GUJCET participating institutes 2023 while for the reserved candidates, the GUJCET passing mark is 48. The total marks for GUJCET question paper is 120. The paper has 120 questions.

Q:   Is GUJCET syllabus similar to the syllabus of and CBSE class 11 and 12?

The syllabus of GUJCET is similar to class 11 and 12. However, some topics may be extra in GUJCETs syllabus which are not covered in class 11 or 12. Students preparing for the GUJCET exam need to study as per the official syllabus which is released by the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB). Also, students can follow NCERT textbooks as the base for studying the syllabus of GUJCET. GUJCET 2025 Eligibility Criteria

The candidate's application form will be rejected if it does not meet the GUJCET eligibility criteria 2025. Therefore, the candidates should carefully read the eligibility criteria before filling the GUJCET 2025 application form. The list of eligibility requirements is as below.

  • The candidate must be from India and residing in Gujarat.
  • Candidates must have passed or appeared in 12th grade or an equivalent exam.
  • For BPharm, the candidate must have studied either Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) or Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) in 12th grade.
  • For BE/BTech, the candidate must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) in 12th grade.
  • The general category candidates should have scored 45% in class 12 board examination
  • Reservation category students must have scored 40% in the class 12 board examination.

The GUJCET 2025 application fee is INR 350/-. This fee is the same for all categories applying for GUJCET 2025. Please note that the application fee payment can be made online through a credit/debit card or internet banking or through any branch of SBI. Candidates who do not fill the application form withi the last date will be allowed to fill the form by paying a late fee for an extended period.

A:

Yes, as per the information provided in GUJCET information brochure, candidates have to upload colour photo in the GUJCET 2025 application form. Also, the photograph need to be recent with light colour background. Sunglasses are not allowed in the photograph however candidates can wear vision glass/spectacles.

Step 1: GUJCET 2025 Registration

Registration is the first step in filling the application form for the GUJCET 2025. At the time of registration, candidates have to enter their basic details like name, mobile number, email ID, etc. Check below the list of all the required information at the time of GUJCET 2025 registration. 

  • Surname, Student name, and Guardian name in the first column
  • Select gender (Male/Female)

Step 2: GUJCET 2025 Fee Payment

After the successful registration process, candidates need to pay the GUJCET 2025 application fees. The fee can be paid online using a credit/debit card or internet banking or through any branch of SBI. The amount of application fees is similar for all categories applying for GUJCET 2025.

Step 3: Fill GUJCET 2025 Application Form

Step 5: GUJCET Application Form Submission

The application form of GUJCET 2025 will be automatically submitted after the successful uploading of images. Candidates have to download the filled application form and take its printout. The print copy of the filled GUJCET application form 2025 needs to be kept safe till the completion of the admission process as it will be required at the time of the counselling process along with other necessary documents.

The facility to make corrections in the filled form will be provided after the GUJCET 2025 application form last date. GUJCET 2025 application correction facility will be available online. During the application correction window, all registered applicants who wish to make any changes to their completed application form may do so. The form for changes will be available on the website and must be submitted by mail or in person at the GUJCET Cell in Gandhinagar on or before the deadline for corrections. GUJCET will conducted in two sections as:

  1. Section-1: Physics & Chemistry 
  2. Section-2: Mathematics/ Biology
