Jio Institute Entrance Test (JET) 2022: Exam Dates, Application Form, Eligibility, Syllabus, Results

Jio Institute Entrance Test (JET) is an online exam conducted by Jio Institute. Candidates seeking admission to PGP in Artificial Intelligence & Data Science and PGP in Digital Media & Marketing Communications offered by the institute can take the test. There is no fee payable to take the test.

JET 2022 application process incorporates various stages like registration, email verification filling the application form, uploading required documents, pay application fee and final submit. The application form is available on jioinstitute.edu.in. Candidates can visit the website to apply for the exam if they are interested and meeting the eligibility criteria. Following are the steps to fill the application form:

• Visit the Jio Institute online application portal - admissions.jioinstitute.edu.in
• FIll the registration form to create your account
• Verify your email ID
• After email ID verification, login to the online application portal using your email ID and the password assigned to you
• Click on "Apply Now" to fill the application form
• The application form will have following sections - Personal Information, Academic Details, Work Experience, Essays & Recommendation, and Financing & Scholarship
• Fill the details carefully in the application form
• Then move to Upload Documents’ section to submit copies of mandatory and optional documents
• Pay the application fee of INR 2500/-
• Submit the application form
• Take the printout of it for further use

The eligibility criteria for PGP in Artificial Intelligence & Data Science and PGP in Digital Media & Marketing Communications are as follow:

Eligibility Criteria for PGP in Artificial Intelligence & Data Science

• Candidates should possess a three-year undergraduate degree with minimum fifty percent or equivalent CGPA.
• Candidates must have completed at least one course at the undergraduate level in either Computer Science/ IT/ Statistics/ Mathematics / Economics.
• Hold at least eighteen months of work experience as of July 01, 2022.

Eligibility Criteria for PGP in Digital Media & Marketing Communications

• Candidates should possess a three-year undergraduate degree with minimum fifty percent or equivalent CGPA.
• Hold at least eighteen months of work experience as of July 01, 2022.

The syllabus comprises key topics to be covered in order to crack the exam. Candidates should be well acquainted with JET 2022 syllabus to prepare for the exam in a concrete way.

Prior to appearing in the exam, candidates have to book a slot as per their convenience. It is an online proctored (non-adaptive) test. Candidates can take the test online from the comfort of their residence. There will be questions of Quantitative Aptitude, Verbal Ability and Writing Skills. The three sections are individually timed and candidates have to answer questions of each section within the stipulated time. Following is the exam pattern of JET 2022:

General Instructions and Pre-requisites of JET 2022

• Internet Connectivity - Ensure that you have a stable internet connection with a minimum speed of 512 kbps
• Auto Save - All your responses are saved automatically. In case of disconnection or shutdown, you will still be able to resume easily
• Do not Refresh - Don’t refresh the webpage during the assessment. This will lead to immediate submission of your responses.

The sample test paper will provide some familiarity of the type of the exam. Candidates can anticipate the difficulty level of the exam, types of questions, etc. by solving sample test paper. Jio Institute Entrance Test (JET) sample test paper contains the questions similar to that of the questions asked in the exam. No admit card will be issued to candidates for appearing in the exam. They will be able to take the exam just after submitting the application form by using the link shared with them. 

After completion of the test, JET score will be directly notified by email to Jio Institute immediately. The score of JET will be one of the components of holistic evaluation of the candidate along with past academic record, statement of purpose, letters of recommendation, relevance of work experience, extra-curricular activities, awards and accolades, performance in personal interview.

Scholarship will be provided to all the deserving candidates to assit them in fulfiling their higher education aspirations. Jio Institute will offer scholarships of up to 100% on the tuition fees and the scholarship will be awarded based on the review of individual needs, as well as the Jio Institute’s commitment to access, inclusion, gender parity and diversity.
