Q:   How are Shaheed Rajguru College 2023 cut off marks determined?

A:

As of my last update in January 2022, the cut-off marks for admissions to Shaheed Rajguru College for the year 2023 may not be available, as they are typically determined closer to the admission cycle based on various factors. However, here are some common factors that universities and colleges like Shaheed Rajguru College often consider when determining cut-off marks:

1. *Class 12th Board Examination Results*: The cut-off marks for undergraduate programs are often influenced by the performance of students in their Class 12 board examinations or its equivalent. Colleges may set minimum eligibility criteria based on the percentage or grades obtained in relevant subjects.

2. *Total Number of Seats Available*: The number of available seats in each programme can impact the cut-off marks. If the number of applicants exceeds the available seats, the competition becomes more intense, leading to higher cut-off marks.

3. *Previous Years' Cut-off Trends*: Colleges may analyze previous years' cut-off trends to predict the level of competition and set appropriate cut-off marks for the current year. Factors such as changes in the admission process, curriculum, and popularity of courses can influence cut-off trends.

4. *Subject Combination and Course Demand*: Cut-off marks may vary for different courses and subject combinations based on the demand for particular programs. Popular courses may have higher cut-off marks compared to less sought-after programs.

5. *Reservation Policies*: Colleges often have reservation policies for various categories such as SC, ST, OBC, EWS, and PwD. Cut-off marks may differ for each category based on the percentage of seats reserved.

6. *Quality of Applicants*: The overall academic performance and profile of applicants also play a role in determining cut-off marks. Colleges may consider factors such as extracurricular activities, achievements, and awards along with academic scores.

7. *Government Regulations*: Colleges must adhere to government regulations and guidelines regarding admissions, including cut-off marks. These regulations may influence the criteria used to determine cut-off marks.

It's important to note that the exact methodology for determining cut-off marks may vary between colleges and universities. Prospective students are encouraged to regularly check the official website of Shaheed Rajguru College or contact the admissions office directly for the most accurate and up-to-date information regarding cut-off marks for the year 2023.

Best girls college in DU NAARC A+ grade.
Placements: The placement cell at my college is well established. The average placement package is 6 lakhs per annum, and the highest package is 12 lakhs per annum. Many companies visit the campus through the placement cell, including the big four accounting firms. The college has a good reputation among employers.
Infrastructure: The college has modern infrastructure and the labs are equipped with the latest technologies. Projectors are present in each classroom. The college also has a hostel facility, and the mess provides the best quality food.
Faculty: The faculty are the best. They're very friendly and always ready to help students. They use modern tools in their teaching, and the notes they provide are excellent. The faculty are very experienced and well-known in their field. The curriculum for the course is regularly revised to adapt to modern needs, and exams are conducted at the end of each semester.

This Degree will add a lot of value to your profile as it has been recently introduced.
Placements: Very few from our course and batch were placed, and even those were not in core finance profiles but in operations. The average package offered was 3-5 LPA. The top recruiting company was DE Shaw, but none of us could get through the first round.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is quite good and well-equipped. The library is the best in the entire DU circuit. The classrooms are good, the furniture is good, and smartboards have been installed. The hostel is average; the rooms are double-sharing. They do not provide any bedding. The washroom is for common use (it is used by almost 6 people). The hostel food is not so good. The hostel has good medical facilities and a recreational room for group chitchats and studies. Overall, the campus is beautiful, and the infrastructure is good.
Faculty: The teachers possess a lot of knowledge, are highly qualified, and are very helpful and kind. The course curriculum is designed nicely; if one studies meticulously, then it's the best course in finance for an undergraduate degree. The semester exams are not at all tough to crack, given that one is determined enough. The pass percentage is 8/10.

SRCASW(BMS/BBA(FIA) Honest Review
Placements: The highest package of the last tenure was around 6.5 LPA and the average was 5 LPA. Almost everyone starts with internships in the first year itself, with students doing them in EY, Airtel, Jio, OYO, Zomato, etc. I don't know the exact percentage of the students placed in our senior batch, but the results of placements were as expected by them. The top companies that come in for BMS/BBA(FIA) placements are TCS, HCL Tech, DeltaX.
Infrastructure: I don't live in the hostel, but some of my friends do, and according to them, it is better than many North Campus hostels, and even the food is tasty. The building looks a bit old, but we have places like the amphitheater to enjoy after classes. The library has a nice stock of books with quite a stock of the same book, so we just issue them instead of buying them from outside.
Faculty: The teachers are well qualified and have quite a good knowledge and experience in the subjects they teach. They are easy to talk to and will even give practical real-life examples of situations. Even the guest faculty is supportive. With BMS and BBA(FIA) both being professional courses that too at DU, I would say the exams are moderately difficult.
Other: Before pursuing the master's, I wanted to learn more about it and then choose my field of expertise. The best thing about this course is the amount of practical knowledge it helps you gain. We have an annual tech fest for our department, and I can assure you it is the best fest compared to other departments. We have both official and unofficial trips, with the official being to Manali and Jaipur in the last two years.

Overall, it is a good college.
Placements: About 70% of the students are placed in this course. The highest salary package offered is 36 LPA and the average salary package offered is 6 LPA - 7 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Bharat Biotech, Bartonics, Bioserve, Biological E Limited, Wipro, HCL Technologies, Planet's Park, etc.
Infrastructure: There are two Bio-lab classes with air-conditioners installed in the Microbiology department. We also have 4 more labs for practicals. There is a 3 storied library building with various reputed authors. The hostel serves 4 time meals that include breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner. There are proper sports facilities with coaches and a gym in the college.
Faculty: Teachers are very knowledgeable. They provide a great understanding of every topic. They help in practicals also. Due to various internships and programs, the course makes us industry-ready. The semester exams aren't that hard, and students can easily pass the exams.
Other: There are two fests held. One is the annual fest for two days, and the other is the tech fest for 3-4 days. Besides this, there is a sports fest as well in February. A lot of extracurricular activities are also held.

Shaheed rajguru college review .
Placements: As I have just completed my first year in this college, I can't really comment about the placements, but seniors say they do struggle with the college placements. I have heard that placements are not very good, so we should not get dependent on the college only. Although last year, I saw that our college conducted an internship fair; it was on campus and online as well.
Infrastructure: I have always had a problem with the college sanitation. Washrooms on all floors are not properly maintained. I really hate that. And the canteen is also not good. For me, the canteen is 2/5. The selection of the student council also has many complaints.
Faculty: Yes, the teaching staff is absolutely good; teachers are knowledgeable in their particular subjects. There are no compromises in studies. I don’t know about others, but my course (BFIA) is absolutely good. I go to college regularly and attend all the classes, and I can say that if you study in college only, you don’t need to struggle extra.
Other: I chose this college because the course I’m pursuing is available in only 2 colleges of Delhi University, and I got into one of them, so that’s why I chose this. You can take admission in this college for BMS and BFIA. For other departments, I can’t really say.
