As per the DU Academic Calendar 2021 released by the varsity this week, the first semester PG Classes will start on December 1. However, the schedule for DU PG Admissions 2021 has not been released yet. 

Delhi University PG Admissions 2021: Delhi University is expected to begin the registration process for postgraduate admissions anytime soon. DU PG Admissions are been done on the basis of merit and entrance exam results. The Admission for PG courses will be hosted on the admission portal of Delhi University; admission.uod.ac.in. 

As per the DU Academic Calendar 2021 released by the varsity this week, the first semester PG Classes will start on December 1. However, the schedule for DU PG Admissions 2021 has not been released yet. 

The Delhi University in the PG information bulletin, the varsity said that the entrance-based admissions will be considered for the candidates even if their qualifying exam results are awaited. However, if the result is not submitted by the candidate until four days before the last date of admission, the University will cancel the admission. 

For DU merit-based admission, students' CGPA scores will be converted to percentages using;  Final Percentage of marks (per cent) = CGPA based on all six semesters x 9.56 formula. The final percentage that has been calculated will be considered up to 2 decimal places.

In order to break ties in both entrance and merit-based admissions, the following rules will be applicable:

  • The candidate who has higher marks in the qualifying exam will be given the preference in the admission list
  • Candidates with a higher percentage in the final year of a bachelor degree, then the preceding year and so on
  • In case there is a tie, candidates with higher aggregate marks (five subjects including one language) in the Class 12 board examination will be given preference.
