Patna University has decided to extend the application window for all programmes due to the impact of COVID-19. Check details here.

The Patna University has extended the online submission of the application forms from August 14, 2020, to August 31, 2020, for Undergraduate (PG) courses and September 21, 2020, for all Postgraduate (PG), Diploma and Self-financing programmes. The extension of the application window is due to the raging cases India is witnessing every day. The Patna University conducts the Patna University Entrance Exam in order to offer students admission to its programmes and courses offered at the varsity. The entrance exam dates stand postponed and will be announced soon by the varsity.

In order to get admission to Patna University, the renowned varsity conducts the Patna University Common Entrance Test (PUCET). Admission to all programmes is done through PUCET. Official dates for PUCET will be announced soon by the varsity and a new schedule will be released by the varsity. Here is the notice which was released by PU.

How to Apply for Admission to Patna University

Candidates can follow the below-mentioned steps on how to apply for admission to Patna University Entrance Exam which is as follows:

Step 1: The candidate will first have to visit the official website of Patna University.

Step 2: Click on the ‘Admission’ tab. The candidate will be directed to a new website, which is the Patna University Entrance Exam webpage.

Step 3: Click on the link, ’Apply Now’ for Patna University Entrance Exam.

Step 4: Enter the basic details to register such as name, mobile number and email ID.

Step 5: Proceed to fill the application forms by entering the personal and academic details as required on the application form.

Step 6: Upload the images according to the sizes and dimensions mentioned in the application form.

Step 7: Pay the application fee via online mode i.e. through net banking/debit card/credit card.

Step 8: Once the payment is made, the candidate has successfully applied for PUCET.
