The University of Mumbai’s Department of Communication and Journalism (DCJ) is still accepting application forms and students who are interested in admission to MA courses offered in the field of Journalism and Communication can apply now. Admission to the courses is done by clearing the DCJ Mumbai Entrance Exam, followed by a Personal Interview (PI) round. Candidates who clear the two rounds are offered admission to the programme. Due to the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) impact, the application portal was made available in the month of August, where usually the portal is made available in the month of June.
An official date will be set for the DCJ Entrance Exam and the admit cards will be made available online. Candidates who have successfully applied online, will be able to download the DCJ Entrance Exam admit card online.
How to Apply for DCJ Entrance Exam
Aspirants can go through the following steps on how to apply online.
Step 1: Visit the official website of the Department of Communication and Journalism Mumbai.
Step 2: On the homepage of the website, the candidate will have to click on ‘Application Forms’.
Step 3: Select the programme you are interested in applying for.
Step 4: Once the programme is selected, the candidate will be directed to another page.
Step 5: Register yourself by entering their personal and academic details.
Step 6: Answer the questions as required on the application form.
Step 7: Once all the details are filled, the images are uploaded, the candidate has to proceed to the pay the application fee.
Step 8: Once the payment is made, the candidate will receive an email ID and SMS confirming their application submission and transaction.
