Candidates holding a graduation degree from a recognised college or university are eligible to apply for the XIC online entrance exam (OET) 2017. Also, candidates appearing for their final year graduation exams are eligible to appear for XIC OET 2017.

XIC OET 2017 Exam Pattern
Xavier Institute of Communications conducts mass communication entrance exam in the online mode only.
The exam pattern for XIC OET 2017 is such that the paper contains both objective and subjective sections. The objective section carries multiple choice questions of 100 marks which candidates need to complete in a duration of 60 minutes. The subjective section carries three questions of total 50 marks which candidates need to complete in a period of 30 minutes.

XIC OET 2017 Syllabus
The syllabus for XIC OET 2017 is divided into two parts. For objective section candidates are evaluated on:
• General knowledge and knowledge of media
• Language skills
• Logical and analytical skills
Subjective section contains media-related questions that are meant to assess candidates’ writing skills, creativity, and social values. Some questions can also be related to the course a candidate is applying for.
