Karnataka PGCET 2019 result is available now for all programmes. Know below the steps to check Karnataka PGCET result 2019.

The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) on August 22 announced Karnataka PGCET result 2019 on its official website. This time, no hard copy of the result will be sent to the candidates by post. To check Karnataka PGCET result, candidates need to enter their PGCET rank.

The result also displays candidate type, name and PGCET number. Karnataka PGCET 2019 was conducted on July 20 and 21, 2019.

Candidates can follow the steps below to check Karnataka PGCET result.

How to check Karnataka PGCET result 2019?

  • Candidates need to visit the official website
  • In the home page, candidates will find ‘PGCET result’ link
  • In a new tab, the login page opens
  • Candidates need to enter PGCET number
  • The result is displayed on the screen
  • Check and download the result

The merit list is prepared separately for different courses. Karnataka PGCET merit list is prepared based on the marks secured in the entrance exam. Candidates should note that the examination authority does not entertain requests for re-totalling or revaluation of OMR sheets.

Tie-Breaking Policy

  • Wherein two or more candidates secure the same merit, the inter-se-merit is determined with reference to the total aggregate marks obtained in the qualifying exam (Graduation or equivalent examination)
  • In a case where marks obtained are equal again, the inter-se-merit is determined based on the age of candidates. Older candidates are preferred over younger ones.

Karnataka PGCET Counselling dates have been announced. The counselling process will begin from August 26 while the seat matrix and fee structure will be released on August 30. The option entry process will be available from August 30 to September 4 and the real seat allotment result will be published on September 7.

Meanwhile, the authority will release MTech rank for GATE-qualified candidates on August 23 after 1 pm. The starting MTech rank for PGCET 2019 is 2001.
