CAT admit card 2020 release is scheduled today at 5:00 PM on the official website. The candidates can start downloading their respective CAT 2020 admit cards using their login credentials. Along with the admit card, IIM Indore has issued COVID-19 guidelines to be followed on CAT exam day and a self-declaration form that they have to carry on the exam day.

The release of official CAT mock test for candidates to familiarize themselves with the changed exam pattern, is awaited.

CAT 2020 will be conducted on November 29 at about 425 exam centres in 156 cities across India. Due to COVID-19, the exam duration has been reduced from 180 minutes to 120 minutes and number of slots have been increased from two to three. The candidates will be given different reporting time to reach their respective CAT exam centre for staggered entry. The venue and reporting time will be mentioned on each candidate’s CAT admit card. How to Download CAT 2020 Admit Card?

CAT 2020 admit cards will be available for download until the exam day (November 29). Candidates can download their admit cards by following the steps given below:

  • Log on to CAT 2020 website or click here
  • Enter CAT user ID and password
  • Click on ‘ADMIT CARD’
  • Click on ‘download’ and save your CAT 2020 admit card on desktop

Candidates must note that, CAT admit card is a mandatory document to be carried to the exam hall, so before the exam day, they must take a print out of the same and affix a passport size photo on it (preferably the same photo uploaded at the time of CAT application form submission). Digital or photocopy of the CAT 2020 admit card will not be accepted as a valid document at the exam centre. Along with the admit card, candidates need to carry a photo ID card (original copy), such as:

  • Passport
  • Voter ID
  • Aadhar Card
  • E-Aadhar
  • PAN card
  • Ration Card
  • Driving License
  • Photo ID issued by university

How to retrieve CAT password

In case any candidate has forgotten their CAT password, they need not panic. They can still download their CAT admit card. They can retrieve their password by following the steps mentioned below:

  • Log on to CAT 2020 website and go to login page
  • Click on the "Forgot User ID/ Password" link
  • A new window opens asking for the registered email ID
  • Enter the email ID, captcha code and click on "Get User ID/ password"
  • Your password will be shared in email
  • Use the password to login and download your CAT 2020 admit card
