CAT 2020 toppers list is out. CAT 2020 result was announced by IIM Indore on January 2 on the official website. About 1.90 lakh candidates who appeared for CAT exam on November 29 now know their chances of getting admission in IIMs or other top MBA college of India. Nine students have scored the hundred percentile in CAT 2020. Of these, eight are from engineering background. Five students are from IITs, one is from BITS Pilani, one from Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology and one from YMCA Institute of Engineering, while one student is from IIM Indore’s IPM programme.

CAT 2020 result was scheduled to be announced in the second week of January 2021, but IIM Indore released the scorecards much earlier. At least nine candidates have scored an overall 100 percentile in the CAT 2020 examination.

"Congratulating students who have cleared the B-school entrance exam," the IIM Indore director Himanshu Rai posted a tweet. "For those of you who get a call, all the best for the next stages. For those of you who don't, remember, there could always be a higher calling. Wish you all the very best. Have a great year ahead of you," he wrote.

Vishesh Garg, who scored 99.99 percentile CAT 2020, always wanted to become an administrative officer. This BTech in electronics and communication wants to pursue MBA from IIM Bangalore or Faculty of Management Studies, Delhi University. His second preference is IIM Ahmedabad or IIM Calcutta. “While I didn’t score a 100 percentile, I am happy with my performance. Two things that helped me score well are the mock tests and a thorough study plan,” Garg told a news daily.

Mumbai-based Anand Rajkumar Mishra  scored 99.92 percentile in CAT 2020 despite spinal muscular atrophy, a genetic disorder that makes it difficult for him to walk without braces. He wants to join IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bangalore, or IIM Calcutta or Delhi University’s Faculty of Management Studies.

Aditya Devalla, who scored 99.97 percentile is a a chemical engineer from IIT Bombay and currently working as a data analyst with Axis Bank. Sharing his tip for cracking CAT exam he said that the candidates should focus on taking the CAT mock tests and ensure that they manage their time well as they prepare for the exam.
