IBA also encourages student activities and for that it has a yoga meditation cultural center (YMCC), industry interaction club, Santripti- the mess committee and Udghosh- the newsletter committee.

Functionally furnished, each room has a bed, study desk with chair and a built-in wardrobe. The campus also has a laundry service for students and a general store for daily utilities.

Faculty
The USP of IBA is its faculty. Students confide that inside the classrooms their professors are very strict, however, as soon as they move outside the classroom they are more of friends. Faculty members at this college are from a diverse background and bring to class their rich experience as policy makers, researchers, theoreticians and consultants. IBA’s faculty members are very active and regular participants in international and national conferences, MDPs, consultancy as well as in research and publications.
As per students, Prof. Chandra Kant who teaches management skills and information technology is the best faculty member on campus. However, Prof Ramesh with 30 year of experience in industry and academics is the most popular faculty member.
Teaching Techniques
Classes at IBA are either interaction based or presentation based. However, the institute lacks adequate corporate interaction. The syllabus is distributed over trimesters and so students are generally under a lot of pressure regarding tests and exams which are conducted simultaneously.
Handouts and notes for studying are given by professors and if some specific topic requires additional reference then students are recommended to read that chapter/topic from the library.

College Crowd & Hangout Places
The dean of this B-school fondly refers to it as ‘Indiapura’ because there are students from every state of the country studying here, and believe it or not this is done on-purpose. So, we can safely say that IBA takes national integration very seriously. IBA is known to house a healthy mix of experienced professionals as well as fresher’s.
Students of this college often like to hang out at the Art of Living ashram which lies right next to the campus. There are many eating outlets near the campus; however, you are sure to find students tickling their taste buds at the Punjabi Dhaabas right next to the college. There is also a CCD (Café Coffee Day) near the college premises.
Canteen
The college mess serves only vegetarian food. So, all you non-vegetarians out there try to find alternate means to sneak in your chicken. Unlike other B-schools, students at IBA are quick to share that the food served at IBA is great and is pretty close to tasting like home cooked meals.
College Fest
Students at IBA are known to host the national management fest, Archish which has approximately 600-700 participants every year. The fest is not funded by the college’s management and every aspect of the event is handled by students; right from finding sponsors to inviting colleges and even penning down PRs for the event.
Verdict
Considered to be among the top 20 B-schools in the country, IBA is a good option as it offers dual specialization course and its faculty is great. One aspect which is commendable about this institute is the volume of companies which visit it for placements. The thing which the college needs to work on is having more corporate interactions as that is a must in a management course. Overall, IBA is a good option for students interested in management studies.
