IIM Jammu has completed its final placement process for its 2018-20 MBA program. The highest package offered to a student stook at 24.5 LPA.
The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Jammu completed its final placement process for the outgoing batch of MBA (formerly, PGP). The 2018-20 batch consisted of 58 students with 22 average work experience and 24-domain median age.
There were a total of 84 companies covering the third batch of the students from IIM Jammu. The highest placement package offered was 24.5 LPA and the lowest package offered this year was 10 LPA. Some of the top companies that participated during the placement drive at the institute included Motilal Oswal, Kancor Ingredients Ltd., Tata Power, BrowserStack, Tech Mahindra, TresVista, CCIL, Citi Bank, and others.
Students who took participation in the placement belong to- Engineers, Commerce, Medicine, Management, and others. There were a total of 48 offers and 4 PPOs.
There were different sectors of companies approached for the final placement. These are BFSI 22 percent, Engineering Tech-11 percent, Consulting- 2 percent, Energy- 2 percent, and others. Students were offered different positions, which include- Finance, Business Analyst, Marketing, Operations, and Supply Chain, Consultants, etc.
IIM- Jammu is a Public, Autonomous Business School and the Government of India has established IIM Jammu in Jammu and Kashmir in 2016. The MBA program offered by the IIM-Jammu includes excellent management and the best faculty. The institute believes in contemporary skill development and conduct an interactive session for Data Analytics, Digital Marketing, Leadership through Literature, Soft-Skills, etc. There are different programs offered by the institute including- International Immersion Program, Student Exchange Program, and core courses in the field of- Finance, HR, IT, etc.
