Candidates interested in IIM Nagpur admissions for the said programme must note that it has been designed for working professionals with 50% marks in graduation and a minimum of three years of work experience.
The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Nagpur is all set to commence its two-year MBA programme for working professionals from November-December this year. According to TOI, IIM Nagpur director Bhimaraya Metri on September 7 informed that the programme will be conducted from the b-school’s satellite centre being set up at the Central Institute of Road Transport (CIRT), Bhosari. Candidates interested in IIM Nagpur admissions for the said programme must note that it has been designed for working professionals with 50% marks in graduation and a minimum of three years of work experience.
Students enrolled under this programme will be attending classes tentatively on Friday and Saturday evening followed by Sunday morning and the course fee will be around Rs 9.5 lakh. Candidates willing to apply for the programme must note that the application process for the programme begins today, i.e. September 8 (Wednesday). The link to apply for the MBA programme is available on IIM Nagpur’s official website. “A written online aptitude test will be held by the end of October followed by a group discussion and interview. The candidates will be selected for the course which has an intake capacity of 60. All information regarding the course and the timeline will be put up on the website,” Saurabh Kaushik Pandya, assistant professor, strategy and entrepreneurship, IIM Nagpur, said.
According to TOI, talking about the IIM campus in Pune, CP Gurnani, managing director and chief executive officer, Tech Mahindra and chairman, IIM Nagpur’s board of directors said that this is the first time an IIM has come to Pune and it will attract a fair number of people from the IT and other industries. For the programme, IIM Nagpur will be conducting two sessions in a day of 90 minutes each with a break of 15-30 minutes. “We are also planning to expand to Hyderabad and South Asia soon,” the director informed.
