Covid-19 has engulfed opportunities and growth in almost every aspect. Competitive exams and admissions are no different.

The world is taken down by storm due to coronavirus. Countries and government are advising people to stay home and encouraging them to maintain social distancing. One can use this time as an opportunity to prepare well for CAT  2020. Many a time, it is seen as those who are preparing for the exam are juggling between many things. Either they are working or else they are in the final semester, coping with studies as well as the entrance exam. However, people are discouraged to move out of their house and encourage them to stay home and to stay safe. Therefore, there is the best opportunity for one to prepare for their entrance exam with less stress.

Here are some tips to crack entrance exam:-

Enhancing Reading skills

Along with reading comprehension and verbal ability, which is an integral part of the entrance exam, it is important to enhance one's reading skills. Start reading novels, magazines, comics that will help to improve your vocabulary and to comprehend. In the very start, it might take some time. However, once you start enjoying it, your comprehension and reading speed will increase.

Do not stress yourself and stay calm

This is the most challenging phase, which we all are going through. Normally, one would face the challenge of whether they would be able to crack the entrance exam or not. In this present scenario, the COVID-19 is affecting people psychologically and disturbing the peace of mind. It is most important to stay calm and focus on the preparation of your entrance exam. Try to do what you like just to relax.

Health is wealth

In the end, if you are physically and mentally sound, only then you will be able to deliver. Keep yourself hydrated as much as possible and boost your immunity. If you are healthy then you can focus on your entrance exam.

Indeed, the lockdown has helped the preparation of the MBA entrance exam as well as for the certification course, which will further help in the specialization you want to opt for. This is the time where people can do an internship or job (work from home) and gain experience as along with the knowledge about the industry or sector they want to enter. The webinars where the industry experts talk, share the idea and information will help the aspirants to know and get exposure about that particular industry.

Changes in the Admission Process

There have been many changes in the admission process of top colleges. As the storm of coronavirus has taken down the whole world, therefore, everything has become virtual or digital. Now the admission is carried out virtually. Where the colleges give a presentation about their campus, if a student finds it acceptable, then they go for further process, which comprises of form filling, submitting scanned documents, group discussion & personal interview.

Because of COVID-19, the group discussions and personal interviews are also carried out virtually as safety is most important for faculty and students. The payments are done digitally.

Since everything is online, consider the additional time saved as the time to groom yourself, chase your dream and consolidate your mind to face uncertainties. The entrance exam is the first step to enter the MBA College.
