Soon after the declaration of the Karnataka PGCET merit list, candidates qualifying the exam can participate in the Karnataka PGCET counselling for MBA admission across the state. The schedule for counselling is announced after the result announcement. Karnataka PGCET counselling date 2023 will be announced soon. In the counselling round, the allotment of seats is done based on merit and priority options. The counselling process includes candidates' registration, document verification, option entry, and seat allotment. Selected candidates have to pay the admission fee to secure final admission in the allotted college.

Karnataka PGCET Eligibility Criteria 2024

KEA conducts the PGCET exam for admission to MBA courses offered by institutes situated in Karnataka. PGCET eligibility criteria for MBA admission is as follows:

Karnataka PGCET Eligibility Criteria for Full-Time MBA

  • Candidates having a three-year bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a recognised institute are eligible for admissions based on PGCET exam.
  • UR category candidates should have a minimum aggregate score of 50 per cent in the qualifying exam. On the contrary, reserved category candidates are eligible with a minimum aggregate score of 45 per cent.

Karnataka PGCET Eligibility Criteria for Part-Time MBA

In addition to the fulfilment of the eligibility criteria of full-time MBA courses, candidates aspiring for part-time MBA course based on PGCET scores must have:

  • Three years of work experience in the relevant field on or before July 31 of the admission session.
  • Current employer of the aspirant must be located within 40 KM radial distance from the college of MBA admission.

KEA releases the Karnataka PGCET 2024 admit card for all the applicants. Candidates must carry a hard copy of the PGCET admit card on the exam day.
