Conducted by the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC), GMAT is an expensive test. It costs around INR 23,00 for an Indian student. However, the benefits of appearing for GMAT is that, one can make three attempts and the score validity for admission is five years. Also, GMAT is an adaptive test, which means when a candidate takes the second or consecutive attempt, his/her question paper is prepared (difficulty level) based on the previous performance.

- GMAT is a computer-based adaptive test. Three attempts are allowed to each candidate. The difficulty level of the subsequent exam is based on the candidate’s previous performance.
- Unlike CAT or XAT, GMAT is not conducted on a particular date. Candidates can choose a date to take the exam as per convenience.
- Candidates can make three attempts at GMAT. Score of the last attempted exam is considered for admission test.
- GMAT score is valid up to five years and accepted for admission to over 7,000 Management courses in over 2,300 colleges/universities across India.
- The GMAT syllabus includes Analytical Writing, Integrated Reasoning, Quantitative Reasoning and Verbal Reasoning.
- GMAT application process is online. Candidates can register and fill the GMAT application form online.
- In 2020, GMAT moved to remote proctoring method for conducting test sessions. Now, candidates can take GMAT from home or at a centre.

GMAT Fees
