MAT 2020: AIMA Introduces Remotely Proctored Internet Based Test (IBT)

COVID-19 Crisis has led AIMA introduce Remotely Proctored Internet Based Test (IBT) for MAT 2020 candidadates in addition to CBT and PBT mode test. Read details here!

The All India Management Association (AIMA), the conducting body of MAT exam, will be conducting the exam in Remotely Proctored Internet Based Test (IBT) mode. The body in its latest notification has announced that MAT 2020 exam will be conducted in Internet Based Test (IBT) mode along with Computer Based Test (CBT) and Paper Based Test (PBT) for June session due to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis.

The notification relased by AIMA today reads, “As a further measure from this MAT onwards we are introducing ‘Remotely Proctored Internet Based Test’ (IBT) mode also on separate dates. For the taking the test in IBT mode, instead of going to a test centre candidates could do so from the convenience and confines of their homes, subject to certain pre-specified conditions which they have to follow in the interest of credible administration of the test.”

MAT 2020 May session exams were earlier postponed to June due to coronavirus outbreak. MAT 2020 PBT mode exam will be now held on June 14 and CBT mode on June 21. AIMA will announce the schedule of IBT mode and its other important events shortly.  MAT 2020 registration for CBT mode and PBT mode is ongoing. It will end on June 7 for PBT mode and June 15 for CBT mode.

How to Register for MAT 2020?

Applicants can fill in MAT 2020 registration form on the official website. Check steps below-

  1. Visit the official website of AIMA
  2. Create log in Id and password
  3. Log in MAT account using email ID and password
  4. Fill in all the details in the blank field carefully
  5. Select the exam mode ‘PBT’ or ‘CBT’ mode, preferable test city and payment mode
  6. Pay Rs 1650 to complete registration
  7. Click on ‘Save and Next’ button
  8. Take Print Out of the filled in application form
