Admissions 2018-2020: Registrations open at MDI Gurgaon
MDI Gurgaon has announced the opening of online admission application process for PGPM/PGP-HRM/PGP-IM Program. The application process commenced on September 5, 2017 and will continue till November 24, 2017, 5pm.
The candidates will be selected only on the basis of CAT 2017 scores. Going by the trends of the previous years’, candidates will have to score a high percentile in CAT 2017 to secure a seat in the college. Candidates who get selected on the basis of CAT 2017 scores, will further be called for GD/PI round of MDI Gurgaon.
Candidates must note that even though MDI Gurgaon considers good sectional scores, the overall CAT 2017 percentile will be the primary shortlisting criteria for further selection (batch of 2018-2020).
Candidates must ensure that they check the admission criteria before applying. Incomplete/ incorrect applications will be rejected by the officials. MDI admission criteria is as follows:
- The candidate should have secured 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in both standard 10 and 12
- The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree (minimum 3 years), and should have secured at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in any discipline from a University that has been incorporated by an Act of the Central or State legislature in India or any other educational institution that is established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification that is recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India
- Final year graduate students and candidates receiving all requirements for obtaining the Bachelor’s degree by 30th June, 2018 are also eligible
- Candidates applying to PGP-IM should also a work experience of minimum 2 years as on December 31, 2017
Application process
The application process is completely online. To apply, candidates need to perform the following steps:
- Visit the official website
- Select the program for which you want to apply, and follow the instructions
- Make fee payment of Rs 2200 using Credit/Debit card/Net Banking
Selection process
Candidates must note that only those candidates will be shortlisted who have a valid CAT 2017 score. The shortlisted candidates will further be called in for Group Discussion & personal Interview (in February-March 2018) that will be held in any of the following tentative centres:
- Bangalore
- Gurgaon
- Kolkata
- Hyderabad
- Chennai
- Mumbai
The Group Discussion and Personal Interviews are likely to be held in February and March, 2017.
For Foreign/NRI/PIO candidates
- Foreign/NRI/PIO applicants holding a valid GMAT score (taken not before Sunday, January 1, 2017 and not later than Saturday, November 20, 2017) shall be considered for admission
- Online application will be open for Foreign/NRI/PIO candidates till November 24, 2017, 5pm

MDI Gurgaon primarily accepts CAT scores for admission to its PGDM programs. For Indian students, a valid CAT score is required. However, for Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), Foreign Nationals, and Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs), a GMAT score is accepted.
