The Telangana NEET counselling for special stray vacancy round under management quota opened for the students on November 27, 2024. All the eligible candidates whose names were available in the provisional final merit list could exercise web options for admission into MBBS seats from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM on the given date. To apply for the stray vacancy round, eligible candidates must visit the official website at knruhs.telangana.gov.in. Students had to deposit approximately relevant to the annual tuition fee of the category to which they want to exercise web options.

The college-wise allotment list after the additional stray vacancy phase of counselling of Telangana NEET under the management quota was released on November 4, 2024. It was released in a pdf document. The pdf document comprised details like name, category, rank, HT number and sex. Telangana NEET Counselling college-wise seat allotment under management quota after the mop-up phase of counselling released by The Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences on October 24, 2024. The document comprised details like rank, students's name, roll number, category etc. 

Earlier authorities released a notice on October 3, 2024, for conducting the second phase of web-based counselling for vacant seats under Competent Authority Quota (C.Q) for MBBS courses including EWS, PWD, PMC, CAP categories in both Government & Private in Telangana state. All the eligible applicants, their names were displayed in the Provisional final merit list to exercise web options for admission into MBBS seats through the website.

Only NEET UG exam qualifiers who scored above the Telangana NEET counselling cutoff marks were eligible to participate in the counselling process. Candidates were able to apply to the 85 per cent state quota seats of Telangana based on the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET). The authorities released Telangana NEET counselling dates and students could use these dates to prepare their strategy to qualify. 

The Provisional Final Merit position of the applied candidates will be prepared based on NEET UG 2024 Rank and other eligibility criteria after verification of scanned original certificates.  

As per the NEET result statistics, 13,15,853 candidates qualified out of 23,33,297 applicants who appeared in the exam. The authorities declared the NEET revised results on July 1, 2024. The entire counselling process for the Government quota (GQ) and Management quota (MQ) will be organised at the official website, knruhs.telangana.gov.in.  

 

Q:   When will the registration for the Telangana NEET Counselling 2024 begin?

A:

The Telangana NEET Counselling 2024 application process was started on August 4, 2024. The last date for Telangana NEET counselling registration was August 15, 2024.  

The Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences, Telangana was started the application process with the application form filling exercise which were available at tspvtmedadm.tsche.in. 

Students who are NEET qualified are advised to appear for the TN NEET counselling process before the last date of registration.

Telangana NEET Counselling Process 2024

Online Registration

Post the announcement of the NEET 2024 result, the Telangana NEET 2024 registration process was started on the official website of KNRUHS from August 4, 2024, onwards. The Telangana NEET 2024 application forms were available online only. They must not attempt to fill out the application form on a mobile or tablet. Also, the form can be filled in on Internet Explorer only. Candidates have to provide the following details for registration:

  • NEET 2024 roll number
  • AIR obtained in NEET 2024
  • Date of birth
  • Mobile number

On validating the above details, the system will generate a unique registration ID for the candidate. This registration ID could be used to log in to the account in the future.

Registration and Verification Fee

To complete the registration process, candidates had to deposit a non-refundable registration/verification fee. This fee had to be paid online using a credit card/debit card/net banking.

Verification of Original Certificates and Other Documents

Candidates must take out a print of the filled-in application form for Telangana NEET 2024 counselling. In the space provided on the application form, they must affix a recent passport-sized photograph. They must then report to the verification centre along with this hard copy of the application form and all their documents in original.

Candidates must keep ready the following documents to participate in the Telangana NEET Counselling 2024: 

  • NEET 2024 admit card
  • NEET 2024 scorecard
  • Aadhaar Card
  • Certificate of class 10 or Birth Certificate
  • Marksheet of Class 10 and 12
  • Transfer Certificate (from the last institute)
  • Caste/Community Certificate (if applicable)
  • SSC/SSLC Certificate of parent or relative (if applicable)
  • Minority Certificate (if applicable)
  • Income Certificate (for those claiming fee exemption)
  • EWS Certificate (for those claiming reservation under EWS Category)

Telangana NEET Final State Merit List

Only those candidates who will complete the verification process successfully are eligible to participate in Telangana NEET Counselling 2024. The provisional state merit list was revised accordingly and a final list was published.

Telangana NEET Web Counselling Seat Allotment List

Based on the choices filled by a candidate during web counselling and their position in the state merit list, KNRUHS will allocate the seats. Candidates who wish to confirm their admission will have to report to the allotted institute and pay the academic fee before the deadline. Seats left vacant after the first round were carried forward to the next round. Candidates must also note that a separate seat allotment list was released for every round.
