1.2 Lakh Candidates to Appear in KEAM 2022 Today

KEAM 2022 exam is scheduled today. Paper 1 (Physics and Chemistry) will be held from 10 am to 12:30 pm, and Paper 2 (Maths) will be held from 2:30 pm to 5 pm.

Around 1,22,083 candidates are to appear for  Kerala Engineering, Agricultural and Medical Entrance Exam (KEAM) today. The exam will be held across 346 centres in Kerela, Mumbai, New Delhi and Dubai. KEAM will be held offline in pen and paper mode.

Every registered candidate has to carry their KEAM admit card to the exam hall to take entry. With the admit card they must carry any one valid ID proof in original like Driving License, Passport, PAN Card, Election ID, Nationalized Bank Passbook, or Aadhaar Card with a photograph.

Between sessions 1 and 2, lunchtime is available for the candidates. Lunch can be done by the candidates after the end of paper 1 and before the start of paper 2 exams. Candidates will be allowed to go out for lunch. However, they just return for the paper 2 exam on time to be able to attend the exam.

Electronic devices like mobile phones, calculators, electronic watches and smartwatches are not allowed in the examination hall. Candidates can only carry with them a pen, water and lunch. 

Students suffering from covid should contact the exam centre phone number given on the admit card and information about the illness. A special facility will be set up for the students affected by Covid-19 to write the exam. Those who are covid positive have to take the exam as per the covid safety norms following the instructions of the officials in charge. All students have to wear a mask throughout the exam.

After the exam, KEAM 2022 answer key and KEAM paper analysis will be available.  The paper analysis will help candidates know the difficulty level, the types of questions asked, the weightage of the topics, and will give a rough idea of the exam cutoff. The analysis will give an overview of the exam and candidates will be able to draw the probability of their chances of admission to their desired college.

The unofficial KEAM answer key will be released by various coaching centres and experts. However, the official KEAM 2022 answer key will be released by CEE a few days later. KEAM answer key will be available as a PDF for all versions of the question paper distributed in the exam. The official answer key for KEAM 2022 can be challenged. To challenge the KEAM answer key 2022, candidates have to report the same to CEE in writing along with supporting documents. A fee of INR 100/- per question s to be paid as a DD in favour of CEE, payable at Thiruvananthapuram, within 5 days from the date of publication of the answer keys on the website of the CEE.
