KEAM 2025 Registration Expected to Start Soon; Exam from April 24

The Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) is expected to begin the KEAM 2025 registration process soon. As the exam is scheduled earlier this year, the KEAM 2025 application process is anticipated to open sooner than last year. In 2024, the exam was held between June 5 and 10, with registration starting on March 27. This year, the KEAM exam will take place from April 24 to 29, with April 22, 23, 29, and 30 reserved as buffer days. Given this shift from the first week of June to the last week of April this year, the KEAM application form 2025 is expected to be released in the last week of January or the first week of February.

The official KEAM 2025 notification will be released on the CEE website - cee.kerala.gov.in, detailing the complete schedule, including the registration dates.

For KEAM, candidates need to register and appear for the entrance exam as well as participate in the centralised counselling process (CAP). For admission to undergraduate engineering and pharmacy courses, candidates must register for KEAM, take the KEAM Computer-Based Test (CBT), and participate in the CAP. For other courses, including medical, agriculture, forestry, veterinary, fisheries, and architecture, candidates must register for KEAM and submit their applicable entrance exam scores (such as NEET or NATA) when participating in the CAP.

KEAM transitioned to a Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode last year, replacing the previous pen-and-paper format. The KEAM exam for engineering candidates consists of one paper with 150 questions: 75 questions from Mathematics, 45 from Physics, and 30 from Chemistry, all to be completed in 180 minutes. For BPharm candidates, the exam will include 45 questions from Physics and 30 from Chemistry, with a 90-minute time limit. The marking scheme awards four marks for each correct answer and deducts one mark for each incorrect response. The KEAM 2025 syllabus will cover topics from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics at the Plus Two level.
