The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI) offers admission to the Cost and Management Accounting course every year. The past admission session, 2021-22 recorded the highest admission rate with 75,822 students enrolling on the course. ICAI shared the student statistics from the past decade; along with the best admission rate in the past 10 years, the previous session recorded the best gender diversity with a 54:46 male and female ratio.

CMA 2021-22: Course Wise Admission Rate

As per the course wise admission rates, following the previous year’s trends, the Intermediate course had the maximum enrolment. As many as 35,695 students enrolled in the CMA intermediate course for the 2021-22 admission session.

A total of 28,062 students got admission into the CMA Foundation course, while 12,065 students got admission into the CMA Final course. The CMA Final enrolment rate found a YoY jump of 194 per cent as compared to enrolments in the session 2020-21.
