CMA Foundation for Dec 2022 Term to be Held on Jan 21 & 23

ICAI is conducting the CMA Foundation exam for December 2022 term on January 21 and 23. Earlier, the exam was to be conducted on January 13.

The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI) has rescheduled the CMA December 2022 exam for the Foundation course. Candidates have to appear for the online test from home on January 21 or January 23 as mentioned in their admit card. Earlier, CMA Foundation exam was to be conducted on January 13. However, the technical glitches led to the rescheduling the online exam. All candidates have to appear for the exam as per the rescheduled date, irrespective of the paper. ICAI will only consider the exam scores conducted on January 21 and 23.

Prerequisites of CMA Foundation Exam

The prerequisites of the CMA Foundation exam under December 2022 term are as follows:

• Candidates must keep a government ID proof handy before they login to take the exam. The ID proof is to be uploaded on the online exam page before the start.
• Keep the login details, including 12-digit registration number, date of birth, and passkey as a hard copy before starting the exam
• Candidates must sit in a quiet room and avoid a seating position where the light emits from behind. 
• Please update Google Chrome and accept the permission to access Webcam and Microphone from settings before downloading the applications on your Laptop/computer/mobile. 
• The CMA Foundation exam will start sharp at 10 AM. Candidates must ensure login at 10 AM itself.  
• Candidates must ensure enough power backup to avoid hassles during electricity failure.
• Candidates must use a fast and reliable internet connection during the exam to avoid any internet-related issues.

Basic Infrastructure Requirement for CMA Foundation Exam

Candidates must use a continuous Internet connection with 1 - 4 MBPS speed. ICAI has also notified the candidates to check the functionality of the microphone and webcam beforehand. Candidates must use the latest version of Google Chrome as the browser to take the online test from home. Candidates who are using mobile phones to take the CMA Foundation exam from home must use Android version 5 or above.
