ICMAI has released the CMA results for Intermediate and Final course exams conducted under June 2024 term. Official date for declaration of CMA Inter and Final results was also August 23.

The Institute of Cost Accountants of India, commonly known as ICMAI, declared CMA June 2024 results for Intermediate and Final courses as per the scheduled date. ICMAI released the CMA Foundation results on July 11. CMA Inter and Final exams were conducted from June 11 to 18 across multiple exam cities in offline mode. The exam was held across 120 exam cities. Out of these exam cities, few centres were located in three overseas cities.

CMA Passing Criteria 2024
Candidates who took the CMA exam must obtain a minimum of 40 per cent marks in each subject of the CMA Inter and Final course. In addition to the individual subject passing marks, candidates must obtain an aggregate score of 50 per cent in each course group. If any of the above two criteria is not met, candidates have to take the exam under the specific group again.

CMA Passing Criteria: Exemption Rules
CMA students who have secured 60% or more marks in any individual subject paper within a course group, despite failing to meet the overall passing criteria, will be eligible for a subject exemption. This exemption will be valid for the next three exam terms.
However, candidates availing this exemption will be awarded 50 per cent marks in the exempted subject for the subsequent three exam attempts. Candidates will have to fill the exam form in the subsequent attempts but can miss the subject paper. The results will indicate ‘E’ in front of the exempted subject.

Q: Can I check CMA results immediately after the exam?
No. CMA results are released within 3 months of the exam date. as per the CMA test structure, the CMA Foundation exam is held as an OMR based test. Therefore, candidates are evaluated only after they have submitted their OMR based answer sheets. On the contrary, CMA exams for Intermediate and Final courses have subjective questions. Therefore, evaluating the performance of each candidate can be done via a subject matter expert.
Therefore, candidates cannot check the CMA results immediately after the submitting their answer sheets.
Q: When will ICMAI release CMA results?
Ths institute of Cost Accountants of India, commonly known as ICMAI, releases the CMA results in two to three months of the exam dates for Intermediare and Final courses. CMA Foundation results are released comparatively early. Owing to a MCQ based question pattern in CMA Foundation exam, the results for CMA foundation are typically released within a month of the exam date.
CMA Intermediate results and CMA Final results are released on a same date. However, the link to check the CMA Intermediate results and CMA Final results are hosted on the separate windows.
Q: What is the mode for release of CMA results?
CMA results are declared for all the CMA students who appear for the exam as per the stipulated dates. The results for all three levels of CMA exam are issued online on the official exam website. Candidates need to provide login credentials, including their registration number to check the CMA results for Foundation, Intermediate or Final course level. ICMAI releases the CMA results separately for Foundation course. While the results for both Intermediate and Final exams are released on the same day.
ICMAI does not entertain any requests for offline showcase of the CMA results. Therefore, candidates can check the results from the official website only.
