Financial Planning Standards Board (FPSB) India and the National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) have announced the launch of a new Postgraduate Program in Financial Planning. This collaboration also includes a series of Capacity Building Initiatives designed to enhance the securities market’s ecosystem.
Introducing the Postgraduate Program in Financial Planning
The newly introduced PG Program in Financial Planning is set to provide aspiring financial professionals and current industry experts with the advanced knowledge and skills necessary for success in the financial services sector. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between FPSB India, represented by CEO Krishan Mishra, and NISM, represented by Registrar Sunil Kadam, aligns with the Union Budget 2024’s emphasis on skill development and employability, offering improved career prospects for finance professionals.
Krishan Mishra expressed his excitement about the partnership, stating, “We are profoundly grateful to Shri Sashi Krishnan, Director of NISM, for his support in this initiative. Our collaboration with NISM to offer this comprehensive Postgraduate Program and undertake joint Capacity Building initiatives represents a major step forward in our mission to enhance financial literacy and planning standards in India.
