The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT BHU) has recorded a new placement record, securing the highest offer of INR 2.2 crore per annum. This surpasses the institute’s previous record of INR 2.15 crore set in 2021, marking its best placement performance in the last decade. In addition to this, the institute has also witnessed a substantial rise in its average package, which has now reached INR 22.8 lakh per annum, further reinforcing its growing industry recognition. 11 students of IIT BHU secure placement of over 1 crore.

Top Recruiters Participate in IIT BHU Placement Drive

The campus placements at IIT BHU saw active participation from leading industry giants across various sectors, including IT, consulting, finance, and core engineering. Around 350 top companies, including Google, Microsoft, Tata Steel, Amazon, Databricks, ITC, Samsung, Oracle, Walmart, and Qualcomm, were part of the 2024 placement drive, offering diverse opportunities to students.

1,128 IIT BHU Students Secure Jobs

In addition to the record-breaking packages, 1,128 students secured job offers, while 424 landed internships. Expressing pride in the institute's achievements, the director of IIT BHU highlighted this year’s placement success and reaffirmed the institute’s reputation as a premier institution producing industry-ready professionals.
