ICAI 2021: CA Intermediate & Final Exams to be held from July 5

The ICAI today announced that the CA Intermediate & Final exams will be held from July 5. Read details.

The CA Intermediate and Final exams, which were postponed due to second wave of COVID-19 pandemic, will be conducted from July 5 onwards. The detailed schedule and notification will be released soon.

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) today announced that the “Chartered Accountants Intermediate (IPC) {Under Old Scheme}, Intermediate {Under New Scheme}, Final {Under Old & New Scheme} and Post Qualification Course, viz.,: Insurance and Risk Management (IRM) Technical Examination and International Taxation – Assessment Test (INTT – AT) of May 2021 Examinations shall now commence from Monday, 5th July, 2021 across the globe.”

Earlier, the ICAI CA Intermediate and Final exams for May 2021 phase were scheduled to begin from May 21 but were cancelled due to the rise in coronavirus positive cases across India and consequent restrictions.

There is no change in the schedule of CA Foundation course exams which are scheduled to be held from June 24 to June 30.

The ICAI conducts CA Foundation, Intermediate and Final exams at over 1,000 test centres in multiple cities across the country. Unlike other exams, the ICAI is not planning to conduct the exams online thus, it is of utmost importance that the exams are held at the test centres only when the COVID-19 cases have abated.

The CA 2021 examinations are also held at eight test centres abroad. Candidates can select from the following test cities for ICAI - Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Doha, Dubai, Kampala (Uganda), Kathmandu, Kuwait, Muscat.
