The overall difficulty level of the Shift 2 exam held on August 27 was moderate.

The English Language section was Moderate. Questions in this section were asked from error detection, grammar usage, idiom and phrases. The Numerical Ability was of Moderate Level. Most of the questions were based directly on formulas and some were calculative. es vocabulary, etc. The Reasoning questions were of Moderate level. 

The overall difficulty level of the AFCAT 2 2022 paper held in the first shift on August 27 was moderate. An attempt of 62 to 70 questions is considered to be good attempt.

AFCAT 2 2022 shift 1 exam has concluded at 11.45 pm. 

The shift 1 exam of AFCAT 2 2022 (Day 2) is underway. The paper will get over at 11.45 am. The exam analysis will be provided to candidates after the exam gets over.

Candidates who will clear the online test of AFCAT will appear for AFSB interview. Candidates will be able to generate the call letter for AFSB interview after the declaration of result.

The Shift 2 of AFCAT 2 paper has concluded. The overall difficulty level of the paper remained same as the shift 1 exam.

Candidates are required to bring the following relevant documents, which will be checked during AFSB testing:

AFCAT Admit Card

Original Matriculation/ Secondary School Certificate and Mark sheets issued by CBSE/ ICSE/ State Board. No other certificate will be accepted for verification of Date of
Birth
Original Marks Sheet & Certificate of 10+2 (issued by the relevant Board)
Original/ Provisional Graduation Degree/ Post Graduation Degree Certificates and
Mark Sheet of each year/ semester issued by University - only for verification of educational qualifications to check eligibility for the course. Provisional Certificate issued by college Principal is not acceptable. However, Provisional Degree Certificate issued by the University is acceptable

In case of final year/ semester students, a Certificate from the College Principal, clearly mentioning the following aspects annotated with proper stamp and seal of the Institution is required:
(aa) Name of the College
(ab) Name of the University
(ac) Discipline in which Graduation/ Post Graduation obtained
(ad) Aggregate Percentage
(ae) Likely Date of Declaration of Final Result (in DD/MM/YYYY Format).

Candidates are also advised to bring twenty copies of recent passport size colour photographs taken in light coloured clothes against white background for documentation

Training is scheduled to commence in the first week of Jul 2023 for all courses. The approximate duration of training for Flying and Ground Duty (Technical) Branches is 74 weeks and that of Ground Duty (Non-technical) Branches is 52 weeks at Air Force Training Establishments.

AFCAT 2 answer key 2022 will not be released by the official authority since the exam is conducted online.  However, some coaching institutes provide the answer key based on the feedback provided by the candidates who appear in the exam.

Candidates are advised to be physically fit when you report for SSB in order to be able to undergo various tests at AFSB. You should aim to achieve an ability to run 01 mile (1.6 kms) in 10 minutes, 10 push ups and 3 chin ups.

The AFSB centres are at Dehradun (1 AFSB), Mysuru (2 AFSB), Gandhinagar (3 AFSB), Varanasi (4 AFSB) and Guwahati (5 AFSB). Candidates who opt for flying branch can only opt for Dehradun, Mysore and Varanasi. 

AFCAT 2 cut off 2022 is expected to be around 155-157. The EKT is expected to be around 15-18.

The shift 2 exam of AFCAT 2 will be conducted from 2.15 pm to 4.15 pm. 

Candidates are not allowed to carry any of the following items:

• Blue tooth device, communication / electronic / digital / wireless devices like calculators, docupen, electronic watches with facilities of calculator, cellular phone, memory card/ stick, pager, organizer, personal digital assistant (PDA), concealed microphone or camera, radio, headset, Walkman, recorder, translator etc.
• Textual or stationery material such as pencil-box/geometry box, book, log tables, clip board, slide rule (except blue or black transparent ballpoint pen)
• Personal items (wristwatch/wristband, bracelets, handbags, ornaments, wallet, purse, head gear, scarf, goggles, jackets) eatable items (chips, chocolates, food, drinks etc.)

The entry for the second shift will begin soon. The exam will start at 2.15 pm.

The exam pattern was the same as in previous years'. Students found the probability questions to be surprising. The Numerical Ability carried questions from Profit & Loss, Simple Interest, Compound Interest, Proportion. Arithematic questions were more in the paper. English carried questions from Antonyms, Synonyms, idioms and phrases, fill in the blanks, jumbled sentence, etc.General Awareness questions were asked from military exercises, government schemes, history. There were very few questions in some sets. In Military Aptitude, there was one questions,'Which company made tejas?' 'Which Aircraft can carry Brahmos?'.

The standard of Numerical Ability Questions is of Matriculation level. The standard of questions in other subjects is of graduation level (Indian University).

The first shift of AFCAT 2 exam is over now. Entry for the second shift has started at 12.30 pm.

Questions in this section are usually asked from Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning.

AFCAT 2 merit list 2022 will be prepared based on the marks secured by the candidates in the online test and AFSB interview. Candidates are also required to clear the medical test inorder to be in the merit list.

Graduate candidates with minimum 20 years of age are eligible to apply for AFCAT exam.

AFCAT reporting time for shift 1 was 8 am while the reporting time for Shift 2 is 12.30 pm.

For Flying Branch, candidates should be between 20 and 24 years. The upper age limit for candidates having a Commercial Pilot License is relaxed up to 26 years. For Ground Duty (Technical & Non-Technical) Branch, the age of candidates should be between 20 and 26 years.

AFCAT 2 shift 1 exam has started at 9.45 am. 

AFCAT 2 2022 exam is being conducted across various cities spread throughout the country in two shifts-9.45 am to 11.45 am and 2.15 pm to 4.15 pm.

For correct answers, candidates will score three marks. One mark is deducted for every incorrect answer and no marks are allotted to unattempted questions.

The reporting time for shift 1 was 8 am. The verification of admit card & ID Proof, Biometrics, Photo/ Thumb Impression/ Sign on Attendance Sheet & candidate seating in exam hall is being conducted from 8 am to 9.30 am. 

The shift 1 exam of AFCAT 2 2022 will begin at 9.45 am and it will get over at 11.45 am. Candidates will be given time from 9.30 and 9.45 am for reading the instructions.
